Park Artem Borovik in Moscow invites to a walk!

In 2000, a new green recreation area appeared in Moscow. It is the park of Artem Borovik, the official grand opening of which was held on September 13, 2001. The recreation zone received its name in honor of the Russian journalist, writer and public figure who died tragically in a plane crash.

Photo and description of the park

The green zone was created in the center of a large circular motion. The park named after Artem Borovik is relatively small, its area is only about 10.4 hectares. Due to the comprehensive restriction of the road, the recreation area has the shape of an ideally right circle. The central attraction of the park is a memorial monument in the form of a pen. The memorial sign is made of granite, the inscription on it says: "Artem Borovik's Park".

On the territory of the recreation area there are pedestrian and bicycle paths, benches for rest, sports and children's playgrounds. Game towns for children are divided into different age zones: from 1 to 3 years, from 3 to 7 years and over 7 years. Thanks to this zoning, every mom immediately understands which area to bring the kid to play with peers.

Good news for those who do not part with your favorite smartphone even on vacation: the park has Wi-Fi, free for all holidaymakers.

Ice rink and other paid services
