The dispersion acrylic coating has recently gained popularity. The solvent of this paint is water, and the binding agent is acrylics or copolymers. If you want to use opaque enamels to cover the surface of a wooden floor, it is worth noting that they have become much less common today, as they are toxic and fire hazardous.
Acrylic paint for wooden floors and varnishes are familiar to consumers because of their cheapness and ability to preserve water repellent effect. After coating the surface with paint, a protective film with a thickness of 0.1 mm is formed on it. This paint dries quickly, not having time to penetrate deep inside the tree. In this regard, the protective film is short-lived.
Today oil paint for wooden floors is almost not used, as many new, progressive paints of various types have appeared. Its low price is not a criterion for choosing the optimal means for painting, and its service life is small, so the operating costs will be several times higher as a result.
