Otoplasty (plastic surgery of the ears) is a plastic surgery that corrects the anatomical structure of the auricles. Otoplasty is performed by surgery and affects the cartilaginous and soft tissues of the ear.

As a rule, this operation does not require an inpatient stay. In the first days after otoplasty, there may be swelling in the wound area and soreness, which is removed with anesthetics. The dressing is performed once every 3 days, and is under the supervision of a doctor. You can return to your usual life in a few days. The result obtained after correction is preserved for life.

The plasticity of the ears does not affect the hearing at all.
