Dietology, nutriciology - is there a difference

I would like to immediately distinguish two completely different, but interacting sciences - nutritiology and dietology.

Nutrition is a science that studies nutrition. A dietology is a section of medicine that examines and organizes human nutrition. That is for nutritiology, the main object of study is the process of absorption of substances. While dietetics is aimed at creating meals that include healthy and healthy food. Therefore, the individual food system was called a diet.

Nutrition, in turn, seeks to explore how the food itself and the processes of its consumption affect man.

Basis of Nutrition Science

Nutrition is based on the laws of nature:

  • The first law of nature - the energy value of food, eaten by a person, must be equal to its energy costs.
  • The inconsistency of these two indicators will lead to either obesity or malnutrition. Both that and another negatively affects the body, and causes a number of serious diseases (violation of the musculoskeletal system, heart function, and so on).
  • The second law - the chemical composition of food must meet the needs.
  • The human body can only accumulate fat from food. That's why people need daily use of useful minerals and substances that are in the composition of food. Healthy food is the basis of the normal functioning of the human body.

Subjects of the study of nutritiology

The main subject of the study of nutritiology is the search for ways to reduce the negative impact of food on the human body. Therefore, it is conditionally divided into three types:

  • The effect on humans of substances supplied with food.

Objects of research of nutritiology are sources of replenishment of nutrients and dietary supplements, among which:

Tasks

The main tasks that science sets itself (nutriciology) are:

  • Normalization of the work of the human body, altered by diseases.
  • Excretion of a variety of toxic substances from the body.

Principles of science and nutrition

Nutrition is a science that studies all the processes of human-food interaction.

Therefore, she is engaged in the promotion of healthy eating. Allocates the following principles:
