Magne Furuholmen: biography, childhood

He was born on November 1, 1962 in the working area of the Norwegian capital - the city of Oslo. In what kind of family was our hero brought up? His mother, Annalisa, received a higher pedagogical education, worked at a local school. Father Magne, Kore Furuholmen, was a professional musician. At one time he acted as a member of the Bent Solve's Ochestra.

At the age of 5, Mags (so his friends and family) lost his father. In 1967, a man with his group died to death in a car crash.

After some time, Mags had a stepfather. In the second marriage, the mother gave birth to two sons and a daughter. With the new family, our hero had no problems. The stepfather did not share the children with his own and others'. Mags respected him. And his mother and grandfather approved the boy's enthusiasm for music.

Creation

Even in his youth, Magne Furuholmen together with his friend Paul Voktor performed in various groups, honing their skills. In 1976, they created the Bridges group, taking in the team Viggo Bondi and Kvestina Yevanard. For a short time the guys got a small army of fans. In 1980, the band released the album, which was called Fakkeltog. He had no particular success. But the guys did not despair. They continued to work on the creation of new material.

In 1982, Paul and Magne went to London. In this city they stayed for 8 months. Friends hoped for a rapid continuation of their careers. However, they spent all their savings in vain. Friends returned to their hometown. And soon they created a new band, inviting as a vocalist Morten Harket. The collective received a short and sonorous name - A-ha. The guys recorded some demo tracks. And the three of them went to London. This time they returned with nothing.

And it was not until late 1983 that the trio signed a contract with Warner's record label. The first single of the band (Take on Me) failed. But soon the guys presented his remixed version. And the track brought them fame.

To date, in the creative group of the group A-ha 11 studio albums, dozens of vivid video clips and hundreds of concerts around the world. Magne Furuholmen Is not only a keyboard player and guitar player, but also an author of some songs.
