'Nalgezin': instruction warns

Unfortunately, in our country the practice of taking medicines without the recommendation of a doctor is spreading more and more. This drug belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Its active substance - naproxen sodium, it quickly and easily binds to plasma proteins, within an hour reaches its maximum effect, almost completely eliminated from the body. • Pain in muscles of various or unknown origin;
• With pains in the joints, bones, spine;
• With menstrual pain ;

However, like any medicine, the drug has contraindications, capable of causing great harm to a certain group of people. "Nalgezin", the instruction warns, it is contraindicated:

• People with lesions of the gastrointestinal tract;
• Suffering from "aspirin" asthma;
• Renal and hepatic insufficiency ;
• Patients with impaired hematopoiesis;
• Pregnant or wishing to become pregnant;
• Nursing mothers;
• With polyposis of the nose ;
• Children under 16 years.

• Hemorrhage, ulcers, or erosion;
• Stool disorder, vomiting, nausea;
• Dizziness, headache, tinnitus;
• Weakness, drowsiness, retardation reaction;

• Pneumonia, anemia;
• Renal or hepatic insufficiency;
• Hearing impairment.

Typically, these symptoms occur with an overdose of the drug. However, sometimes even the recommended dose of the drug may cause its intolerance.

Does this mean that you should not use Nalgezin for treatment? The instruction states that with the correct dosage in each particular case the drug does not cause side effects and only benefits. However, the question of its use should be decided only by the doctor.

How is Nalgezin used? The instruction, emphasizing the need to prescribe the drug by a doctor, indicates that the tablets are taken regardless of the meal.
