Mounting corrugated board - it's easy

Profiled sheet (corrugated board, profiled sheet) is a common modern building material, which is a metal sheet with a profile of a certain type, with or without a polymer coating. Recently polycarbonate corrugated board has been widely used for the construction of arbours, greenhouses.

As a rule, profiled sheeting is used for facing walls, covering roofs, erecting fences. For each field of application, a profiled sheet with a certain type of profile is used. This material differs in the thickness of the metal and the height of the profile. The wall profiled sheet is marked with the letters "C" or "SN". Depending on the customer's wishes, the corrugated board can be painted in any color according to the RAL color catalog, and the coating can also be different: smooth, matte, shiny.

Fastening of corrugated board is a laborious process, but not very difficult. The main thing is to carefully read the manufacturer's instructions on how to correctly mount the corrugated board to the wall.

The first step in the implementation of the cladding of the walls is the fastening of the crate, onto which the corrugated board will then be mounted. The lining is a galvanized steel profile with a thickness of 0.5 to 1.2 mm. The profile looks similar to the Latin letter Z, so it is called the Z-profile. It is often used because it has good spatial rigidity. Mounting of this profile to the wall takes place with the help of brackets, which during installation help to hide uneven walls. If it is necessary to create a space for ventilation, then an additional profile is mounted, to which the corrugated sheet will then be fastened.

Currently, the cladding of the walls of buildings is carried out using modern insulating materials. And, of course, fixing the insulation to the wall occurs before the corrugated board is fixed.

For the insulation of the facades of buildings, mineral wool is mainly used, but much when choosing a heater depends on the material of the wall itself and the climate in the area. The thermal insulation is secured by means of special anchors. Joints between its sheets should be tight, without gaps in the vertical and horizontally. On the standard heat insulation sheet, on average, 4-5 anchors are needed.

After installing the battens and insulation layer, a waterproofing film is applied, protecting the facade from moisture and wind. It stretches vertically, necessarily with the allowance. Self-tapping screws are used for fastening.

Next, the corrugated board is directly attached. When fixing the profiled sheet, it is necessary to take into account the direction in which the wind blows in the given area. It is necessary to know this, to produce a joint of sheets vertically to the wind, otherwise the wind will blow out under the proflist.

Naturally, the sheets are assembled using the building level.

It is necessary to attach the upper and lower edges of the sheets in each wave with screws. For the rest of the area you can attach a sheet through the wave. As a rule, about six square screws are used per square meter of corrugated board. Vertically, the application of sheets should be carried out on one wave, and horizontally by 100 mm.
