Renaming

The Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education "Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology" (State University) has something to be proud of. It was created in November 1946 as a faculty of Moscow State University, on the basis of which in 1951 it was formed as MIPT. History

MIPT reviews collects not false, because the history of this beautiful educational institution is truly enviable. It was founded and taught by such renowned physicists as Nobel Laureates LD Landau, PL Kapitsa, NN Semenov. The first rector was IF Petrov. Applicants

Budgetary places, like in all state universities, are now limited in quantity, but still there are a lot of them. 740 places were given to applied mathematics and physics, and another 30 in the competitive group "Mathematics and Chemistry". Applied computer science and mathematics invited 120 entrants, plus computer security - 10 and system analysis in two groups - another 10. Documentation

The documents are accepted from June 20th to July 26th, inclusive, to places covered by the budget. For paid tuition, the entrant must hurry up with the surrender before July 6th. Anyone who is going to take the entrance examinations must submit documents before the eleventh of July. On the twenty-eighth of July, the first and sixth of August, enrollment takes place - in three stages. Priority subjects: mathematics, physics, computer science, astronomy, chemistry, Russian. All areas of training, which are conducted by the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT), require a certain number of points for each subject.

So, in the Russian language - 50 points, in informatics, chemistry, physics and mathematics - at least 65, only in this case the entrance tests will be successfully passed. At MIPT, the passing score can not be changed during the course of admission and does not differ on different bases of training. That is, no person with special rights, who pass through a quota of target admission, who are not on the budget, or who are ready to pay for tuition, will not enter this university without gaining the required number of points. And at MIPT the passing grade is very high. Even if the entrant has many wins at the Olympiads in the final class, still in the results of the USE there must be at least seventy-five points for each relevant subject.

Special Rights

There are categories of applicants who are accepted without entrance examinations, because their value as future students is already appreciated highly. They are the winners and winners of the final round of the All-Russian Olympiad, in which schoolchildren took part, in physics, chemistry, mathematics and computer science. In addition, they are the winners and winners of the fourth stage in the same disciplines of the all-Ukrainian Olympiads for schoolchildren, but if these people are Russian citizens, for example, Crimean residents permanently residing there, or residents of Sevastopol, who were trained according to the curriculum and the state standard of general secondary education . Without entrance tests, participants of international Olympiads on astronomy, physics, mathematics, computer science and chemistry, members of Russian teams, as well as members of Ukrainian national teams who lived in Crimea, who participated in international olympiads, are admitted to MIPT.

Special quotas

The order of admission to MIPT provides for the right to study within the special quota of disabled children, as well as disabled children, invalids of the first and second groups, invalids due to illness or military trauma received while serving in the Russian Army, if medical and social expertise does not find Contra-indications to training in MIPT. Orphans and children who are left without parental care also take a special quota. Veterans of military operations can also use a special quota when they enter the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University).

Entrance examinations for these categorical persons MIPT conducts independently, in writing and for each subject separately - all within the framework of the secondary school curriculum. In MFTI examinations are only given in Russian. They pass in the main building of the institute. When entrance tests are conducted for applicants with disabilities or with disabilities, all requirements for entrance examinations are always met, taking into account special provisions.

Provisions for the admission tests

1. For admission tests, a separate audience should be prepared, in which the number of examiners must not exceed twelve people. It is possible to admit to the entrance exam and more entrants with limited health. It is allowed to conduct entrance examinations for invalids together with applicants who do not have health restrictions, unless, of course, this creates additional difficulties for entrants in entrance examinations.

2. If the entrants do not fit during the time planned for the entrance test, then at their request it can be increased, however, not more than one and a half academic hours.

3. During the entrance exam, the presence of an unauthorized person - an employee of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology or an employee involved - is available, which will provide technical and vocational help for applicants with disabilities with regard to individual needs: move around, take a seat, read the assignment and register it, Teachers who conduct an introductory test.

4. All applicants receive instruction in printed form, where the procedure for conducting entrance tests is scheduled.

5. Applicants can use the necessary technical means for them in the process of passing the entrance examinations, taking into account their individual characteristics.

Applicants provide information on the above data in a separate application when submitting documents to MIPT, the admissions committee will further take into account the need to create special conditions that correspond to the health status of the applicant. Also, when submitting documents, it is necessary to provide a document that confirms limited health opportunities. The original of this document and the medical report on the lack of contra-indications for training in the university will remain in MIPT. However, after the application, the entrant can make some changes in the established time by sending a scanned application to the electronic address of the admission committee.

Appeals

After passing the entrance examination and announcing the results, the entrant or his authorized person can get acquainted with the work and, if necessary, appeal to the special appeal committee. Where and how students live

The first

Since there are many buildings for students to settle in this university, there is enough space for everyone. The buildings are different, the living conditions in them - too. A few block houses, corridor type, where first-year students live in a room for four. In "Edinichka" (dormitory No. 1) on each floor there are thirty-five rooms, two toilets and two rooms for washing with drying for linen - in each wing by a set. Two kitchens on the floor with a table, a sink and two plates with ovens. Also two souls - male and female. There is a laundry room with five washing machines, a reading room as a place for study - with table lamps, bookcases and a marker board.

There also operates a club where all sorts of events are held - discos, birthdays, as well as meetings of students on serious occasions. To support the sports form it is possible in "rocking chair" - there various trainers, table tennis. Musicians can play the piano on the first floor, and on the second one a printer is installed, where each student can print the documents or information that he needs. In all rooms of dormitories there is an Internet with access via cable and Wi-Fi.

The second and last

The Faculty of Innovation mainly sits its students in the hostel number 2. From here to the New MIPT building less than one hundred meters is convenient. Near the stadium, several dining rooms, a polyclinic, a swimming pool. In "Dvechke" after major repairs in 2012, there was a quality sanitary ware, power supply and fire safety systems, modern double-glazed windows. Just like in the first hostel, here on each floor there are two kitchens with powerful electric stoves. There is a reading room, a fairly spacious club and a small meeting room, a gym, the Internet and so on. Students here are cozy enough.

All dormitories can not be written, because the set of amenities is approximately equivalent. It differs from them a seventeen-story building with four entrances - a hostel of apartment type No. 10. Young employees of MIPT live here. Two hundred and fifty-six apartments, forty-one-room and fifty-five square meters of area - two-room. This building at MIPT appeared in 2014. Fifteen-storey hostel number 11 is also an apartment type - with three entrances. Students live at the Faculty of Radio Engineering and Cybernetics and the Faculty of Physics and Energy.
