Minibuses, all makes and models of Russian and Soviet minibuses

Any major automobile brand has several product lines. One of them are minibuses. All brands or models of this line have different carrying capacity, number of seats, body length and type of application, but all unites one - these are small buses, cars for transportation of people.

Brands and models

Stamps are not written by chance - take, for example, the Toyota brand. Toyota Hiace seen all. But one of this brand has several types.

At the same time, the brand itself has several brands related to the line of minibuses.

The pictures above show a Japanese minibus. If we talk about Western minibuses, all brands, the prices for them are often formed from the price in the German market and the prices for the transfer here. If the owner himself can surpass the car - the price will not be much lower than the price in Russia. This will require cost, but the cost of the + bus price is worth it. This, of course, is not about new, but about used ones, but in use there - on the western roads.

Soviet (Russian) minibuses

As a matter of fact, Soviet automakers were not engaged in minibuses. VAZ, GAZ and other manufacturers produced only passenger cars or trucks, cars. There was only one plant, more precisely, not even a factory - a factory that creates hulls on the gas chassis. Her cars saw everything. Someone went to work for someone, someone to study, someone worked. I think that one word "factory" has already given a boost to memories. Let's add the word "auto", then cut it to one first letter ... And get the name of the factory that produced only minibuses. All brands or models (especially early ones) of this factory had the logo Latvia on the hood, and later the RAF - the Riga Automobile Factory.

What is most interesting, in Riga there was not a single corps, but all mass Soviet production functioned on the territory of the now sovereign state.

The factory worked for many years and, in addition to regular minibuses, produced many special models.

Some of the output was exported to Hungary, the Czech Republic and Bulgaria, but almost all Soviet-era minibuses were RAFikami and, accordingly, left the gates of one of the workshops of the factory. Having most of the nodes from various models of GAZ, the cars had good handling, maintainability and other opportunities inherent in the Volga, up to the hoods on the wheels from the Volga Gas 21. There were also no overlaps. So, among other characteristics inherited from GAZ, one can call the gluttony of fuel, which distinguishes all RAF minibuses. All brands are distinguished by increased fuel consumption, but some RAF special developments consumed much more than their colleagues. However, if we recall that all cars of this class were listed on the balance sheet of state-owned enterprises, this deficiency can not be called significant.

At present, Rafiks have been successfully replaced by GAZel, Sable, or other foreign brands. GAZel was initially developed as a small truck, but the development was so successful that after the conventional car, other modifications having the usual stuffing of GAZelle went, but with the other bodywork. One of these solutions was modern minibus minibuses.

Current situation

The new minibuses in Russia enjoy no less demand than the RAFiki in their time. Many carriers use only foreign solutions, but GAZels, especially those with high ceilings, are also successfully used. By the way, if in former times a fixed-route taxi, however, like usual, was used no more often by buses or other public transport, then according to modern statistics in Russia there are cities where more than 80% of the passenger flow is transported by minibuses.

All brands, prices

New models are still popular, and let's say in Moscow, the price for a Mercedes-microbus will be from 2 million. If there is a desire and possibilities, the bus can be taken in other regional cities, and then returned to Moscow (if the latter is necessary ). So the price can be cheaper. The price for Wv, also in Moscow, can start from 4 million. At the same time, Russian cars - typical gazelles will cost, naturally, cheaper.

GAZ, like the other manufacturer, is interested in buying exactly its products, so it sets low prices for its minibuses. All brands, prices and opportunities can be viewed in the following table.

Of course, this is not all models, but we are talking about minibuses (prices, new models).

Conclusion

Considering in a short article all automotive brands is not possible. But we described the Soviet, and then Russian brands, producing minibuses. All brands are considered to be of no use - if the model is successful, it is simply recycled, modified and made a new car. But maybe this is right. Re-inventing a bicycle is boring ....
