The drug "Actovegin" (injections and other dosage forms) has a metabolic pharmacological effect. The drug increases the accumulation and transport of oxygen and glucose, enhances the intracellular utilization of these components, and stimulates the production of ATP.

Medication is prescribed for CNS disorders (circulatory and metabolic).
