Lords of the Fallen: system requirements, review and release date on the PC

Hardly now there is a gamer who would not have heard of the game Dark Souls. This project immediately after the release was very sensational and made a real sensation. The fact is that modern computer games are most often aimed at the average players who are taken by the hand and lead along the story line, simplifying the gameplay as soon as possible. Many people already do not remember, and maybe they did not find the time when three lives were given in the game, and if they were spent, it does not matter what stage of the game you were in, it ended. No saving, no help - only a player and full of dangers the game world. The creators of Dark Souls decided to do what many developers were afraid - to create a hardcore project that will make gamers go through the same level dozens of times in trying to achieve at least some success. And the idea was extremely successful - the game found a huge number of its fans. Naturally, the developers gradually reached out to this branch of games - first independent creators who do not yet have a reputation that could be spoiled by an unsuccessful release, and then by serious developers. And in October 2014, the first clone of Dark Souls appeared - Lords of the Fallen. The system requirements of this project, its release date, as well as some details of the game itself, will be described below.

Introduction to the game

So, the most important thing about this project has already been said - it's a hardcore role-playing game, which in many ways resembles Dark Souls, but it has its own identity, its zest that makes people buy it and play it. What's so special about Lords of the Fallen? System requirements can be left for later, but for now, focus on the project itself. You act as the hardened criminal Harkin in the fantasy world. Here, all your bad achievements are reflected on the face of your hero in the form of special runes, and the rulers of the world are going to create something terrible with people like Harkin. But then there is an attack of the gods on humanity - and you are at liberty, with weapons in hand and with a chance of forgiveness. To do this, you will have to go into the parallel dimension and fight with the terrible demons. Naturally, all this will be at an incredible level of hardcore, and the game implements a system of frequent save so that you do not lose your progress when you do a dozen times pereprohodit one or another stage of the game Lords of the Fallen. System requirements at the same time will not allow everyone to play.

operating system

Modern games, unfortunately, do not support Windows XP, which was incredibly popular a couple of years ago. Now after it, Vista, the seventh, and the eighth "Windows" have already come out. They are suitable for playing in the Lords of the Fallen - the system requirements clearly indicate that you can not run this project on XP. Therefore, you need to carefully look at the requirements when you will run this game or any other, but it's easier to immediately install one of the new versions of the OS. After all, almost all the current games already refuse to support XP, so you will deprive yourself of a huge number of opportunities if you stick to this old version. For Lords of the Fallen, which we are reviewing, an outdated version of the OS will not work, so you still have to reinstall to run this project. So there's no point in trying to do something and cling to something.

CPU

However, the operating system is far from the only requirement that you will need to comply with in order to play Lords of the Fallen - a review of the components will present you several surprises. The fact is that this project is extremely demanding - it has very realistic graphics, as well as a powerful engine, and all this requires a good computer. Therefore, you need to consider in detail each of the basic components, starting with the processor. To run the game at minimum settings, you will need a processor with a frequency of at least 3 GHz. But this is only for the minimum settings, and if you want to get everything that it can offer you, then you will need to have a processor with a frequency of four gigahertz. Requirements sky-high by the standards of at least last year, but this year everything has changed quite a lot - a big step forward has been made. So do not be surprised - many major projects in 2014 have similar requirements, and even higher. But Lords of the Fallen is definitely on the list of the most demanding games to date.

RAM

So, with the processor the question is clear, now it's time to move to RAM - one of the most important components for launching not only computer games, but also any other programs. This memory is used to start and maintain everything on the computer. And Lords of the Fallen is such a demanding game that you can not run it unless you have six gigabytes of RAM. Naturally, these are only the minimum requirements for running on the weakest settings. But for maximum pleasure you will need eight gigabytes of RAM. You can, of course, refuse such an offer, but you should understand that now this figure may seem fantastic, but next year it will begin to become the norm. We can say that for Lords of the Fallen the system requirements on PC are a certain standard of what they will be in the future.

Video card

Of course, with those landscapes that the game offers, you will need a powerful card with a large amount of video memory. The minimum requirements are 1 GB, but you naturally want to start immediately with two, because with one you can hardly experience all those emotions that could get at the maximum settings. On this, perhaps, enough to talk about what should be for Lords of the Fallen system requirements, the release date on the PC and consoles is also important.

release date

There are two exit dates for this game - the first one is the main one, on October 28, 2014. It was then that Lords of the Fallen appeared on the shelves in the US and Europe. However, this applies only to the version for the personal computer, on consoles the game was released three days later, on October 31 of the same year. Naturally, this difference is not so great, especially given the fact that there was no spread across countries - only in Australia the game came out on the 31st, that is, at the same time, when it was on consoles.
