Lesson as the main form of training.

The lesson as a form of organization of training was first theoretically substantiated by the eminent Czech teacher YA Komensky. He introduced a clear allocation of time for the training and rest of students, the practice of training with a permanent composition of students. Soon   The class-less system of Y. A. Komensky found its worthy place in the educational systems of the whole world.

The lesson as the basic form of training has stood the test of time, despite numerous attempts by teachers to escape from a fixed period of time in the organization of the learning process. The ideas of "free education and training", reform pedagogy and the alternative education movement undoubtedly influenced the traditional lesson, but could not move it from the leading position as the main form of school education organization.

Lesson as a basic form of learning has its advantages. This short period of time is a key component of the educational process, has a semantic, temporal and organizational completeness, represents a holistic education that allows to solve a set of educational goals and tasks.

According to the main didactic goal, the following types of lessons are traditionally distinguished:

A) the lesson of studying new educational material on the subject;

B) a lesson in securing knowledge and improving skills;

C) the lesson of repetition (systematization, generalization);

D) a lesson in the control and correction of knowledge, skills and habits.

The most common type is a combined lesson.

Lesson as the main form of education is not a frozen education. It's amazing how much novelty and non-standardity a professional teacher can invest in this small period of time. Constantly in pedagogical practice there are new methodological findings.

In order to increase the interest of students to school activities in the 70's. XX century there was a new phenomenon - non-standard lessons, that is improvised training sessions with an unconventional structure. Non-standard lessons have become popular - business game, competition, travel, court, auction, excursion and others.

As a basic form of education, the lesson undergoes not only structural changes, but also experiences new social demands.

The modern qualitative lesson is obliged to use the latest achievements of science and pedagogical practice. The teacher should provide conditions for productive cognitive activity of students, taking into account their personal characteristics; To promote the awareness of students of intersubject connections, the formation of motivation and activation of the individual in the educational process. This is not a complete list of requirements, due to the current demands of the society for graduates of educational institutions. Social requirements are specified in the triune goal of each separate lesson: to educate, educate, develop.

The lesson as a form of education obliges the teacher to systematically plan pedagogical activity. The training includes a thematic planning of the system of lessons on this topic and the punctual planning of one specific lesson.

The effectiveness of the lesson, as well as the result of all schooling, depends on the teacher's thorough preparation. The necessary stages of preparation are: diagnostics of the state of the quality of students' knowledge and motivation, forecasting results, designing joint activities.

Logical preparation of the lesson in combination with the optimal selection of methods, techniques, and teaching aids make it possible to achieve the highest possible result in teaching.

However, a qualitative lesson at a high modern level is not always possible even for an experienced teacher.
