Lake Lembolovskoe on the Karelian Isthmus
To get here, move from St. Petersburg to the north in the direction of the Karelian Isthmus. Lake Lembolovskoe is located in the Vsevolozhsk district of the Leningrad region. Its length from north to south exceeds 10 kilometers, and the width varies within 2-3 kilometers. The coast is largely indented. The nearest settlement is the village of Vaskelovo, located on the eastern side.
Lake Lembolovskoe as an option for Sunday rest
This is a great place to relax in nature for a short or longer period of time from the city noise and fuss. This is the most economical and low-budget option for recreation, which does not mean that such a choice is not justified. The nature of the middle belt has a rather large recreational potential, which is not yet fully used. If there is a desire to make sure of this, then the path lies on Lake Lembolovo. The map of the Leningrad Region indicates that the road from the northern capital will not take much time. Approaches to the lake are quite convenient throughout the journey. But in the absence of vehicles, you can get there by train from Finland Station, you should go out on the platform "54th kilometer."
Fishing on Lake Lembolovo
This is one of the main reasons why it should be here. The fish in the lake has not yet been transferred, despite the fact that it is caught very intensively, and in recent years the fish stocks of the lake are clearly decreasing. Best are caught bream, pike, pike perch and perch. On the eastern shore of the reservoir is the village of Vaskelovo, and on the south - the military unit. Therefore, fishing is best to go to the western and eastern shores of the lake. You can catch both from the shore and from the boat. In winter, ice fishing is practiced on Lake Lembolovo.
Lake of Lembol. Holiday Village "Lenenergoremont"
This option of rest is most suitable for those who are not ready to part for a while with the benefits of civilization. A decent level of comfort, and everything you need for a pleasant pastime can be found on the old, but well-preserved from the Soviet era recreation center. Its small houses are located in staggered order on a secluded cape, a peninsula leaving deep into the water area of the reservoir. There is a boat pier, a sauna, sports fields with inventory and a traditional place in the open air, where it's common to fry shish kebab. Guest houses can accept tourists even in winter.
