Beginning of the sports way

At the age of 19, this young sportsman moved to Yekaterinburg for classes. There he worked hard at the local sports facilities, where once popular Ural boxer Ivan Provodnikov, who is the ex-WBA world champion, was engaged.

In amateur boxing, Kurbanov has made great strides. He was awarded the title of Master of Sports. Magomed won his first big victory as an amateur at the Olympics in Russia.
