In 1986, the society heard about the Soviet student Kate Lychyova. A friendly girl with blue eyes made a worthy replacement for the American "ambassador of the world" Samantha Smith. She traveled to the USA, communicated with the head of power Ronald Reagan. Katya Lychyova, whose photo was printed by well-known publications, did not have time to give interviews. That's only in the 90's, the girl secretly disappeared, which caused a huge number of various rumors.

Childhood

Katya Lycheva, whose biography began her story on June 10, 1974, grew up in an intelligent family of science workers. Papa, Alexander Lychev, carried out his activities in a higher educational institution of the world economy. Mother, Marina Lychyova - in addition to being a highly qualified specialist, so also a candidate of economic sciences. From the very childhood, parents developed their daughter in every possible way, trying to form a versatile personality: from the age of four she studied a foreign language, studied in sports sections, simultaneously studied at an English school and attended art classes, and successfully castings for roles in cinema.

Whatever it was, but the popularity of the girl gave not actor's skill, but a trip to the United States in the role of "Goodwill Ambassador". It happened in 1986. Its predecessor was the American Samantha Smith, who came to the Soviet Union in 1893 at the special invitation of Andropov. And in early 1985, it was decided to organize a return visit. There was a competition, there were about six thousand participants, but the choice fell on Katya. Lychyova's trip to American cities was commented on by Union journalists and US correspondents. Undoubtedly, her speeches were memorized, and the level of sincere openness was much inferior to Samantha. Despite this, Katya Lychyova still became an object for imitation of a huge number of teenagers.

Tears of despair

Paradoxically, but despite such fame, the girl had absolutely no companions. Most classmates did not perceive it, but only envied. It was said that out of a huge number of applicants for the trip, it was pushed through the brunt - there were talks about the family's blood ties with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Soviet Union. In fact, everything was much easier: the girl was chosen for her excellent command of English and her natural charm.

It is possible that her grandmother, who at that time was an employee of the Union of Soviet Commonwealths and International Relations, played a role, and her mother worked in an educational institution headed by Alexander Yakovlev. In 1986 he became the head of the department of the CPSU Central Committee.

And yet, the glory that struck Catherine, did not go to her advantage. Many peers left her. The girl at school was pretty good. Often, government machinery came to take her and taken to cities with a prepared propaganda program. Katya Lycheva went to school along with her grandmother, but her mother was the only one raising her child, who was holding Katya in shear gloves. It happened that the girl was crying at the entrance from fatigue, but still returned home and sat down for lessons.

Up the career ladder

In 1988, Katya's mother changed her job, she became the owner of the Francois Mitterand scholarship and moved with her daughter to live in France. The young girl continued her studies at the Sorbonne, but passed the final exams at her native school. After Lycheva lived abroad, she changed, the nature appeared a lot of controversy, although always it was a truly sincere person.

When her classmates celebrated the jubilee of the school, the girl did not come to the meeting, although the invitation was sent to her. After leaving the Soviet Union, Catherine completely cut off communication with the press. Since there was no information about her, the journalists began to invent various stories: then she began to live with a rich businessman, she became an elite prostitute.

And it was like this: in 1995, Lycheva became a graduate of the Sorbonne, received a diploma in economics and law. While still studying, her mother became seriously ill. After that, she became an employee of the assistance center in Paris.

Purchase of apartments

After Katya Lycheva and her mother moved to live in France, her father quickly got himself a woman. There were rumors that the case was nearing divorce, although everything was kept under great secrecy. In order not to shake the authority of his daughter, Alexander bought another apartment in the same house, and then in the neighboring district. Few in the yard loved their family. They were given the nickname of the capitalists. Everyone was interested in the question: "Where did they take so much money to buy flats?" Indeed, "Soviet people do not go to a bakery for a taxi"! ..

It's rather difficult to say about Katya Lychev now. Some of her classmates saw her last time about 8 years ago. She drove up on an expensive jeep. The face remained the same, but extra pounds added. They asked her about her husband and children, to which they received an answer that at the moment the woman is traveling and lives for herself.

Return to Russia

In 2000, Katya Lychyova came to Russia. She held the post of Deputy Head of the World Community of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, was associated with the Ministry of Industry, also headed the United Aircraft Consortium. Her last position is vice-president of AvtoVAZ, where, according to journalists from Togliatti, her salary was one million rubles a month. Catherine was given a luxury home, but she lived there extremely rarely. From Moscow came on official transport only on matters relating to work.

According to AvtoVAZ employees, Lycheva became vice-president due to her good friend - Aleshin. At that time he was the director of the auto giant and gladly took her to this position.
