Jamaldin Khodzhaniyazov: biography of the prospective defender

Jamaldin Khodzhaniyazov, one of the most promising Russian defenders, is currently continuing his career in the modest championship in Denmark. However, in the services of a 20-year-old Russian are interested in several teams, including a prefix "top".

Moving to Russia

Jamaldin Khodjaniyazov, whose nationality at birth was listed as "Uzbek", has Russian citizenship. The reason for this was the early move of the athlete to Russia - after several years of playing in the football school of the Tashkent team "Chilanzar" (Uzbekistan), the defender moved to Togliatti with his family, where he began studying at the local Academy named after Yuri Konoplev. After 4 years, Jamaldin got on the pencil of the coach of the youth national team of Russia, and also signed a contract with the St. Petersburg "Zenith", the coaching staff of the youth team of which highly appreciated the skill level of the player.

Career in "Zenith"

In the new place, Jamaldin Khodzhaniyazov played for the first time only in the youth squad of Zenit, attracting a couple of times to the games of the second team from St. Petersburg. Nevertheless, before the first appearance on the field in the T-shirt, the defender did not have to wait a long time - Luciano Spalletti was pleased with the way Jamal trains, and put him in the start against the "Kuban" in the Russian championship. The player spent almost an hour on the field, and Zenit's mentor, despite the draw, noted the good level and great talent of the young beginner.

As a confirmation of his words, Spalletti soon again put Khodjaniyazov in the base, giving him the opportunity to play all 90 minutes in the Champions League in a match against "Norshelans". The rest of the calendar year, Jamaldin Khodzhaniyazov spent with the youth team, including taking part in 4 meetings in the Junior Champions League.

Rent in Perm and move to Denmark

In search of game time, Khojaniyazov went to Perm, where he spent half a year on loan in "Amkar". But the coach of the "black-and-red" Stanislav Cherchesov did not seriously count on the player, more and more often keeping him on the bench and for all time only releasing on the field. This development of events did not suit Zenit, and he returned to his club in the summer in the hope of fighting for a place in the base.

But the next season, held entirely in "Zenith", did not work out for the player. Jamaldin only once played for the main team, coming out in the quarterfinal match of the Europa League against Sevilla, the rest of the time training with the second team of the club. In the summer of 2015, Khodjaniyazov decided to change the team to get more practice, and signed a contract with the Danish "Aarhus", for which he made his debut in September of the same year in the Cup of Denmark, having played the whole match.

At the end of 2016 in the asset of the Russian already 34 matches in the T-shirt of the Danish team, where he was marked by a goal and an effective transfer. Jamal himself does not hide that he will gladly return to his native club if he makes an offer, but for the time being he is focused on personal growth and assistance to his club, which has big ambitions in the championship.
