Is revelation the word about fear or hope?

In our time there are many religious and philosophical ideas. Many of them in one way or another rely on the Holy Scripture, although people treat it differently. Many people are interested in the meaning of intricate but interesting words written in the last book of the Bible, called Revelation. Religious leaders declare that the prophecies of the Apocalypse reveal the future of mankind.

What is revelation?

Revelation is the transmission of information in a supernatural way from a holy source, such as from God or His messengers. These truths can express His will and serve the good of mankind. In Christianity, as the revelations of the age, only Holy Scripture and Holy Tradition are perceived. Still people, driven by the desire to know what will happen next, are trusted and prophesied by well-known predictors. But they are too difficult to understand, and also these prophecies are not always fulfilled.

Revelation is a foreshadow of danger, insight, discovery of knowledge accessible only to the chosen people. Even under this word is meant the appearance of God in visions or in word, the conscience of man, capable of influencing our understanding of good and evil and deeds, is the ten commandments transmitted by God through Moses.

The Benefits of Revelation

In Christianity it is believed that a careful study of the meaning of the symbolic images of the last book of the Bible and their application in their lives helps to become happier. In fact, religious people at least tend to live in accordance with the norms of morality, which means that they already have fewer problems and more hope for the future. After all, it is believed that God will show mercy to such people during the day of judgment. And who would not want to believe in their salvation?

Revelation is the translation of the ancient Greek word "apocalypse" (the removal of the cover, the disclosure). To correctly understand the meaning of this word, you need to take into account the context of the whole Bible, since many of the visions described in it are related. Some of the prophecies concern Armageddon, that is, the end of the modern system of control and catastrophe on a global scale.

About human fear

In fact, revelation is a word that leads to fear of the future. For example, in one of the cities of the state of Texas (USA), in which new technologies and a large number of nuclear warheads are being developed, believers believe that they will be destroyed first. This fear is quite normal, as many governments spend hundreds of millions of dollars annually on armament, including the production of missiles and nuclear bombs. Some priests in that region preach a special affinity for the last global war between the forces of good and evil. However, a nuclear war, most likely, would destroy all life on the planet. And according to the Bible, God's enemies will be destroyed by supernatural power.

About a new revelation

Believers are divided in opinions about the answer to this question. Some believe that today on the planet live elected people who get new visions and prophecies about the future, listen to them and honor these predictors. Others think that after the day of judgment those people who remain alive will see and hear a new revelation, and this will greatly affect them. And from that time a new life will begin, when the evil will no longer exist.

conclusions

In what and how to believe or not to believe at all - this is a personal matter for every person. In general, people tend to be religious, at least they believe in the existence of good and evil, many trust precisely biblical prophecies and visions. Today it is difficult to determine from which source new revelations spread by people emanate. However, few of us will ignore the manifestations of something supernatural.
