One of the most interesting and, consequently, visited countries in Europe for a Russian tourist is precisely Spain. San Sebastian is a city in which the traditions of this state gathered, ancient luxury and resort chic. It can simultaneously be a paradise for a person who likes to just spend time on the beach, and for a traveler who likes to see the sights and architectural monuments.

This city is located near the border, where France and Spain cross. For this reason, San Sebastian "absorbed" the culture and customs of both powers. It is this feature that differs from other cities in the country, which is why there are so many tourists here, as well as people trying to unravel the riddles of the past, which Europe conceals in itself.

The status of the resort this city received back in the days of World War II. Then all the Spanish aristocracy gathered here to admire the ever quiet and calm Bay of Biscay, endless green meadows and the grandeur of ancient castles. This place is one of the most luxurious and picturesque, which only Spain can boast of.

Here, the culinary traditions are based on Spanish recipes, but they have a pronounced hue typical of the Basques. The main dish that is worth trying is pinchos. In the rest of the country it is called "tapas", which means snacks. However, cooked in this region it has an extraordinary and very memorable taste.

Nightlife in this southern country is a separate conversation. Is not an exception even such a majestic city as San Sebastian. Spain, on the map of which the main entertainment centers are Ibiza and Barcelona, in fact can please the tourist with its night life anywhere, even in the province.
