Indapamide "- a drug belonging to the group of thiazide-like diuretics, has an antihypertensive effect. Medication "Indapamide" is indicated for use in the presence of arterial hypertension.

Contraindications

- pregnancy,

- under 18 years of age (due to lack of knowledge),

The instruction recommends taking the tablets inside without chewing. 2.5 mg (daily dose) is best used in the morning or afternoon. Overdose

Symptoms of overdose manifest weakness, impaired function of the gastrointestinal tract, nausea, vomiting, water-electrolyte disorders. In some cases, an overdose of respiratory depression and excessive lowering of blood pressure may occur. In patients with cirrhosis of the liver, a hepatic coma may occur .

Interactions

Strengthens the effect of other medicines on increased blood pressure. It is not recommended to combine with preparations containing lithium, vinamine, potassium-releasing diuretics.

Similar, as in cases of overdose. Possible violation of the heart rhythm due to loss of potassium. Also, side effects may manifest weakness, a sharp decrease in pressure when trying to stand up, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, seizures, allergic reactions.
