How to turn off safe mode in Firefox, Android, and YouTube

Video hosting YouTube offers a lot of interesting and useful information, but at the same time it contains materials that it is better not to see the children. To protect them, as well as to protect themselves from unwanted videos, there is a function that prohibits the display of videos 18+, videos containing scenes of violence and other materials.

But there are moments when it becomes unnecessary. So how do you disable the safe mode of "Youtube"? To do this, just scroll any page of the site to the very bottom, click the "Security" button and select "Off." If such a button is not found, it means that the user is not authorized on the site and, accordingly, the function that protects from unwanted content is not used.

Secure Mode Locking

If the protection from unwanted videos is turned on by the parents so that the child does not have access to them, then it is worth knowing about the useful feature of this function. Small children may not know how to turn off safe mode, but teenagers will quickly realize that something is hiding from them, and they will certainly return the settings to their original state.

Therefore, you need to click on the link "Lock safe mode in this browser" and enter the password from your Google account. After such actions, no user who does not know the code will be able to disable the protection function. This allows you to protect your child not only from the forbidden video, but also from the materials available through the Google search system. The mode works even after you exit the account.

There is also a minus - completely to be protected from undesirable content it will not be possible, after all only those videos which are marked by users as undesirable are shown.

Using the security mode on Android

Most Windows users are aware of the existence of a secure mode that allows you to boot the operating system with minimal settings for troubleshooting. Only a few people are aware of the existence of the same mode on Android. The function helps with the hang of the device due to the many installed applications, since it only runs system programs.

But what if you do not already need a secure mode "Android"? How do I disable this feature? There are 4 ways:

  1. Remove the battery from the device for half a minute, and then insert it back and boot the system.
  2. Reload Android and when you turn on hold down the "Home" button. The system will start in the standard mode.
  3. The third way differs from the second only in that you need to press the button responsible for increasing the volume.
  4. If the previously described actions do not work, then the volume down key is used.

Before disabling the safe mode, the system is checked for not only unnecessary programs, but also files that can harm the device.

Enable security mode on Android

If you notice that the device is slow or hangs, you can run only system applications to fix problems. To do this, the shutdown button is pressed, after which a special window appears. There are buttons for starting flight mode, mute and power. When you click on the last one and hold it in a few seconds, the "Go to safe mode" window appears. The system will reboot and the function will be reported in the lower left corner.

But it works if you use Android 4.1. Older versions do not have the above functions, and users have no idea how to disable the safe mode. In this case, the volume up and down keys are simultaneously clamped (when the system is turned on after the manufacturer's logo has appeared).

Firefox in security mode

Enabling safe mode in Firefox allows you to disable applications and themes that were previously installed and are the source of problems with the browser. If the program is already running, the transition to safe mode is done by clicking on the "Help" tab, which is located in the main menu. There is a function called "Restart with disabled add-ons". Its activation will restart Firefox. Before you can disable the safe mode, you should be sure to fix the problem.

In case when the browser is not running or does not open at all, you need to click on it with the simultaneous click on Shift, and then the "Continue in Safe Mode" window appears. The third way to enable safe mode is as follows: in the seventh version of Windows, you need to open the "Start" and enter firefox-safe-mode in the search box, and then press the enter key. Performing these actions should lead to the appearance of a window in the security mode.

Exit secure mode in your browser

Enabling the above feature, the user is deprived of many of the advantages that are available in the Firefox browser. How to disable safe mode in this program? Just close all windows and restart the web browser.
