How to propagate a rose with layers? This method is most suitable for plants with long and flexible stems: shrubs and stems. The soil on which the layers will take root is fertilized with peat. With the beginning of spring, the bark of the annual stalk is cut at the ocellus, the length of the incision is about 8 cm. The shoot is lowered into a shallow hole, pinned with flyers, and sprinkled with earth. The end of the sprout should be in an upright position, so it is tied to a peg. The land should be watered regularly. A year later, the shoot will take root, and it will be possible to transplant it. In the first season, the flower should not bloom, the buds are cut off.

If there is no time for grafting or propagation, and there is a task on how to propagate a rose in the easiest way, the division of the bush is ideal. It is used for the cultivation of private miniature and park colors. Before the budding begins, the bush is excavated from the ground. Then divide into two (maximum three) parts in such a way that each one has a root system. The resulting small bush is planted on the former site. To plants successfully overwinter, increasing more roots, in the first year of flowering buds must be cut.

The cultivation of roses by cuttings is suitable for such varieties as miniature, climbing, most of the shrubby, vigorous floribundae. As for wrinkled park species and many varieties of yellow flowers, this method is unacceptable for them.

The positive moment with this type of dilution is the absence of wild shoots. But the root-roasting roses are non - frost - resistant, and their storage in winter occurs in the basement or other place with a temperature within 2-4 degrees of heat.

Consider how to propagate a rose by cuttings. Green stems during the budding of plants are cut and cut into several parts with two buds. The lower cut is then made oblique, and the top one is straight. Finished cuttings are treated with fungicide and any special substance for rooting. They are necessary to prevent fungal diseases. The leaves are trimmed by one third. This is important in order that the plant does not lose a lot of moisture. Sometimes the stems are placed in boiled water for 20-30 days before planting, but can be planted at an angle into the greenhouse in a mixture of sand, earth and peat. Leaves of cuttings should not touch. It is necessary to be in a greenhouse at a temperature of 22-25 degrees and at 90 percent humidity. As soon as the first leaves appear, the shelter is ventilated, and then cleaned up completely. For the winter, such roses are again placed in pots and stored indoors, hiding from frost.

There is not yet one way to grow a rose: graft, seeds, oculization, root offspring. The considered types of flower breeding are the most widespread and successful, they give 80% of the positive result.
