How to make a candy tree yourself

If you want to pleasantly impress your family and friends, especially children, we suggest you build a candy tree. The idea of trees from sweets originated in Germany, but gained popularity almost all over the world. We have candy trees appeared relatively recently, but already firmly occupied their niche among other interesting things. And quite deservedly. Such a tree can become a wonderful gift, adornment and delicious dessert in one bottle. It is believed that a tree of sweets brings happiness and luck to the house. So why not make this work of art by yourself, especially since it's absolutely not difficult. It will take you only a little time, patience and, of course, desire. In the article we will tell you about how simple and quick it is possible to make a candy tree.

A master class to create a sweet plant will add to your life additional creative notes. The result will bring joy and satisfaction. So, in order to make a candy tree with our own hands, we will need the following products:

• Paper packing.
• Toothpicks or skewers.
• Double sided tape.
• Dry twig or ordinary wooden stick.
• Clay pot.
• Multicolored silk ribbons.
• Pebbles, shells of different sizes, pebbles or marble chips.
• Styrofoam.
• Scissors.
• PVA glue.
• Sweets of your choice and taste.

Step-by-step instruction:

1. To begin with, we glue the clay pot with a double-sided adhesive tape. Top on it glue the candy on all the circles.
2. From the foam plastic we carve an oasis with a diameter equal to the surface of the pot. We install it in a pot. Then, also from the foam, we cut out the base for a candy tree of round shape.
3. In parallel, we cut out from the packing paper of different colors squares about 10x10 cm in size.
4. We take a few boxes, add to each other and pierce with a toothpick or a skewer in the center. From below we tie the middle of the leaves to the rod. It will be a kind of roses for the bouquet. Packaging paper is cut into strips of 1 cm and with scissors we twist outward.
5. Sweets wrapped in wrapping paper and planted on skewers, wrapped in ribbons. It should be noted that there must be a lot of sweets and skewers with roses.
6. Then skewers with sweets and flowers are stuck to the base in a round oasis of foam. In the oasis there should not be any free space, it must all be decorated with sweets.
7. When the procedure for decorating the ball has come to an end, "put on" the oasis on the prepared twig.
8. Oasis in the pot is carefully greased with glue, sprinkled on top with shells, pebbles or marble chips.
9. When the coating is well adhered to the foam, a branch with candy is stuck deep into the pot.
10. To the trunk of our new tree you can tie a beautiful bright bow.
11. Congratulations, the candy tree is ready!

Of course, such a candy tree can be ordered at a specialized store, but you will agree that the best and most memorable gift is the one that is made by oneself.
