How is basal cell disease treated in Germany?

Basaloma (or basal cell carcinoma of the skin) is a subtype of the disease that affects the skin, it is a transitional state between malignant and benign neoplasm. This type of disease does not involve the presence of metastasis, which increases the survival rate of patients prone to this disease. More often, people who are more than 50 years old, regardless of sex, are exposed to basalioma.

Among the varieties of this cancer are distinguished nodular, nodular-ulcerative, flat (sclerosing) and superficial basal cell.

Of all the mentioned varieties of the described type of formation, the most common is the nodular. From it, the development of other varieties is possible.

Basal cell carcinoma of the skin (basal cell), proceeds very slowly. Initially, a knot appears on the skin (its appearance is not accompanied by sensations of pain, it does not bother the person at all), then its surface begins to become crusted. Over time, the node begins to grow in size, accompanied by the formation of ulcers.

The consequences of this disease can be very diverse, but they are extremely lethal. Nevertheless, if this disease is found, it makes sense to apply to a qualified specialist for obtaining the most effective treatment, because basal cell can negatively affect the quality of life of a person.

Diagnosis in the treatment of basal cell carcinoma in Germany

The most common method of examination in the treatment of basal cell carcinoma in Germany is cytological examination, for which the patient is scraped and punctured. Before taking the material, the top layer of the formation is first removed from the surface of the tumor. In the same way, a patient's blood test and a histological analysis are performed. If necessary, medical institutions in Germany conduct MRI, computed tomography, and in more complex cases - combined diagnosis of PET-CT.

Methods for treating basal cell carcinoma in Germany

There are different methods of treating cancer in Germany, like:

- Radiation therapy (the tumor is irradiated with short-focus X-ray radiation);

- Laser therapy (removal of basal cell with laser beam);

- Combined therapy (in the stages when the disease is seriously started, or in case of relapse): the tumor is first irradiated, and then - removed;

- the use of cryogenic therapy (a procedure in which the neoplasm is frozen to a temperature of 20 degrees);

- the use of drug therapy (the effect on the neoplasm of cytostatic drugs in small doses).

The treatment of basal cell carcinoma in Germany largely depends on the stage of the disease. In case the disease is neglected, use the combined methods of care.

Since basal cell is not an aggressive type of tumor, the operative method of treatment of basal cells in Germany is rarely used and only in later stages of development, when the tumor is large.

There are still less common types of treatment of basal cell carcinoma in Germany, for example, photodynamic action - a method of treatment with basalioma, which uses light, oxygen and medicines. The drugs used in photodynamic therapy interact with quanta and photons, which as a result leads to the destruction of cancer cells.

The choice of a method of treatment of a basiolyoma in Germany is caused directly by specification of disease, its stage and a condition of the amazed sites of a skin.

The most significant advantage in the choice of treatment of basal cell carcinoma in Germany is the selection of the least traumatic therapy for the patient and an individual approach.
