Hammer for carpentry - rubber kinky

One of the most ancient building tools that appeared on the ground is a hammer. Even at the very beginning of human history almost all of its species were invented. Later, after discovering the properties of rubber, craftsmen came up with and created yet another kind of tool. Rubber kayak is designed to work with materials that are susceptible to squeezing. This article considers this simple but necessary tool in construction.

Types of cues

This unpretentious at first glance instrument is made from the hardest wood, as well as from black or white rubber. A rubber kiylum is used to work with chisels and chisels. If necessary, performing carpentry, you can use it with other tools. The use of a tool with a rubber striker allows you to maintain the integrity of the handles of auxiliary equipment.

A rubber hammer (kiyank) can be different. Depending on the purpose, several types of this tool are distinguished.

A joiner's kiyanku is used for mortising operations. With its help a hammer or a chisel carry out the necessary amount of work. With this tool, cutters are cut out (setting tools for planing).

Locksmiths are used to straighten metal (sheet), they are used for work in which metal products are folded. The tool of this designation is slightly different from the previous one - it is made in the form of a rectangular barrel with a round handle.

Turning kiyanki used to perform the same functions as the previous model. However, the firing of these tools, as well as its handle, is made on a lathe.

Rubber kayak usually has a handle made of viscous and heavy wood species, for example hornbeam or elm. Despite the simplicity of the tool, there are some features in its production. The hammer is made as follows: a handle is inserted into the cone-shaped hole in the center of the striker. This is necessary so that the head does not fall off the handle during operation. The material is usually used fluoroplastic, wood or rubber.

Why do we need kiyank?

The previous article shows that the rubber kyanik is widely used in plumbing and carpentry. This tool is involved in a variety of operations:

- when performing work on the stone and wood;

- for roofing;

- when the damaged surfaces of the vehicle are straightened;

- when laying tiles paving;

- when installing glazing beads on windows.

Additionally

Rubber kiyanki have a few more features. If their working head is white, then there will be no traces on the surfaces with which the strikers will contact during operation. The handle in such kianks is made of fiberglass - an elastic material, not afraid of the effects of solvents. Such a tool is useful to the master for performing complex "jewelry" works. In this case, a person using a rubber mallet will not have any unpleasant, uncomfortable sensations.
