Coloring is a special method of coloring individual strands of hair. Often it is confused with melirovaniem, but these two concepts are significantly different. When used, no more than two dyes are used, while hair coloring can be performed using even 10 dyes.

Technique of execution

Hair coloring is carried out in several stages: first dyes are applied to individual strands, after which each strand is wrapped with foil, so that the shades do not mix. Most often, the color begins with the bangs, and ends at the back of the head. The composition applied to the hair is aged for the required amount of time prescribed in the instructions, after which it must be washed off with shampoo and balm.

The form of coloring, which is carried out using a foil, is called complete. But there are several other methods:

· Surface coloring is the coloring of the top layer of hair. For these purposes, a cap is used for highlighting. The only problem is that the process itself is a long one, because with the help of the cap you will have to draw several stains, depending on the number of shades used. To avoid mixing, each shade must be painted separately.

· Multilayer coloring consists in dyeing hair in several layers at once. For example, the lowest layer of hair can be light brown, medium - ashy, and the top layer - light ash.

· It looks like the previous method and contrasting coloring, however, with it, the coloring is carried out in such a way that the lower hair stains in one color, and the upper one is different. In this case, a clear boundary between these two layers is clearly visible.

Coloring hair is suitable for a woman of any age. The most important thing is to choose the right shades. So, if young girls can be painted using bright shades, then women older than the age of preference should be given to restrained, close to natural color tones. This method is suitable for those who want to visually increase the volume of hair. A similar effect is achieved by the use of several dyes.

Coloring at home

It should be noted that it is very difficult to self-color home. Of course, you can try, it's just impossible to know what the final result will be. It is especially difficult to carry out coloring of long hair at home. If you want, but in no other way, then it's best to choose the full staining with foil.

Having prepared everything you need (gloves, dyes), you need to carefully read the instructions and act as written there. Do not choose a complex color scheme, since it is unlikely to be successful. Wearing gloves, you need to mix the paint and prepare the foil (about 3 cm wide). Staining is performed in rows, and it is best to start from the back of the head. Take a strand width of 0.5 cm and carefully lubricated with paint. Then the lock must be wrapped in foil and put aside so that it does not interfere. Alternating shades, you need to paint all the strands. Having finished one row, you need to proceed to the next one, etc. When all the strands are painted, you need to wait for the time indicated in the instructions and wash off the dyes with shampoo and balm.
