Timezone

Time in Israel is the same everywhere, because the country is in one time zone UTC + 2. Each year the clock is translated twice: an hour ahead on the last Friday in March and an hour ago at the end of October before the holiday of Yom Kippur.

During the country's existence, the framework of summer time in Israel has often changed. The reason for this was most often religious holidays. For example, in 1951-1952, summer time lasted 7 months, and in the next two years - only three. Since 2005, religious parties have demanded that the clock be translated after Pesach and before Tishrei. Ordinary people wanted that summer time lasted as long as possible. Because of this confusion, Microsoft owners were forced to release a huge number of updates for Windows. Many Israeli enterprises refused to transfer the clock at all.
