Griefers are ... Who are griffers and what are they dangerous for?

Griefer is a player who tries to cause moral or material damage to other users. Such people periodically appear in any games, where in principle such interaction is envisaged, and in each of them they struggle in their own way. The game, in which the concept of "grief" is most common, is Minecraft.

What is it manifested in?

In general, the grant is the destruction of various buildings or the introduction of any changes in them. Also, the grifter is the user, meaninglessly killing other players for the sake of his pleasure. It is worth noting the fact that in Minecraft it is quite a mass phenomenon, and at the moment even a lot of teams are formed, specially imprisoned for grief and deterioration of the game on various servers.

Any griffin is an extremely serious threat to the normal gaming community. After all, alone or together they are a very serious problem for server administrators, who try to support builders in every possible way.

Why do they do this?

There are several reasons why a grinder operates in Maynkraft:

• An attempt to get rich by robbery;
• Moral pleasure from the destruction of others' property;
• Attempt to appropriate things or blocks that are the property of others;
• Attempt to change the landscape on your own;
• Ignorance of the basic rules of behavior on a particular server.

Among other things, some people in this way are trying to avenge the blocking or grating of other users, and do it for purposes of blackmail. The latter can be manifested, for example, in the fact that a particular player is forced to join a certain group, but otherwise threatens to destroy his property or block it altogether.

Special servers

With the passage of time, specialized servers of "Maynkraft" began to appear for grilling, on which players with this orientation are united. In some cases, administrators use a similar method of bans griefers, simply sending them to a similar server (sometimes even without their knowledge).

It is worth noting that in Minecraft, in principle, a variety of "legitimate" modes are used, which allow you to modify the client and make it more enjoyable for the game, but intruders often use special "cheat" fashion, with which they greatly facilitate their actions. In particular, cheating is the most common reason why griffers are sent to an "evil" server for the same users.

What do they give?

Advantages of such cheats are provided mainly as follows:

• Flight. It may not be used for a specific act of grating, but is often used to identify potential locations for such a procedure.
• Scanner. It makes some surfaces transparent, which greatly facilitates the search for hidden chests and ores.
• Night vision. The player perfectly sees everything even in absolutely dark caves and other places, completely closed from the light.
• Sneakiness. The player can walk in the sitting position, that is, the nickname above the head becomes more transparent, but the player's speed does not slow down.
• Speed production. The rate of ore extraction from the blocks is significantly increased.
• Force field. Deals a large amount of damage to all who surround griefers, if they are within range of damage.
• Immortality. The user does not receive any damage. Virtually all variations of cheats of this kind on modern servers have been completely blocked.

There are many other cheat variants that can be used by griffers to achieve their goals. Each of them has its own peculiarities and advantages, and most importantly - availability on certain servers.

In this regard, it can be said without exaggeration that in Mayncraft, the grief can cause serious damage to its victims, and for this reason their appearance is an extremely serious problem for administrators and other players. This is why most servers are subject to a wide variety of restrictions that can limit this activity. First of all, this, of course, refers to ensuring effective protection against cheats, and only then to the limitations of the possibility of "legal" grilling in relation to other players.
