Frin (spider): description, photo, lifestyle

All over the world, there are only about a dozen scientists who studied creatures called spaghetti spiders. For this reason, information about the way of life of frees and their behavior is very small.

For ordinary people, a freen (an animal - a spider) caused a lot of incomprehensibility, it was considered very dangerous. People were afraid to meet him. In fact, everything is not true, it's just fables.

A group of tropical arachnids

Arachnids are a class of invertebrate animals, which are scorpions, spiders and mites. Representatives of this large family belong to the most ancient land animals. Arachnids are widespread everywhere, the habitat of some units is exclusively a tropical and subtropical belt.

This class has 11 orders, one of which represents frees. This is a very small detachment of tropical arachnids, the size of which reaches no more than 45 mm. Spider's squad is the most numerous, it unites 20,000 species. It is assumed that the data is inaccurate, because spiders inhabit all the land, there is no such corner on the ground in which there are no such or other species.

Arachnids are mostly terrestrial animals, only a few groups of mites and spiders are inhabitants of fresh water, the habitat of only one group is the sea. Arachnids are predators, except for some mites, they feed on plant matter.

The walking legs of individuals of this class of invertebrate animals have four pairs, in contrast to insects. The size of some species of arachnids does not exceed a fraction of one millimeter, for example, parasitic mites. The size of spiders is 0.5 cm or 2-3 cm.

Spiderman Spider: Description

This species of spiders is colored reddish or yellowish in color. The so-called cephalothorax is wide, with 3 pairs of side eyes and a pair of medial ones. The abdomen is articulate, without tail. Hence the name, which in translation from Greek means "dull ass". On the second and third segment of the abdomen there are lungs, their two pairs.

Helicya short, with a hook-shaped segment at the end. Pedipalps with spines, grasping, large, terminal segments also hook-shaped. The length of the legs is up to 25 cm, the longest front legs, whose legs are flexible multi-segmented flagella, like the insect's antennae. In motion, the spider-bug spiders, moving from place to place sideways, have a similarity to crabs.

Frin (spider) is unique for the reason that he is the owner of six walking legs. The other representatives of the arachnids have eight. Ordinary people at all times looked at the zhivotnogih spiders with discomfort, having heard different fictions.

Frees - habitats, way of life

Currently, there are 17 genera, 5 families and 136 species of spider-bug spiders all over the world. Under natural conditions, their habitat is tropical forests with a humid climate. These are night predators. In the afternoon the spinner hides in the crevices of the rocks, under the straggly bark of fallen trees. Seeing the bright light, the predator freezes, spreading out on the surface of the shelter, if you touch it, it instantly escapes.

As soon as darkness comes, the frin slowly begins to crawl out of its shelter for hunting. At the same time, he carefully patrols all the surrounding territory, catching, with the help of sensitive threadlike processes located on the front pair of legs, prey. Seeing your trophy, quickly goes on the attack, grabs him with long pedipalps. When the dawn comes, the freen is hiding in a damp shelter.

How the frees multiply

Sexual maturity of frees comes in the third year of life. Eggs are found in the female under the abdomen, they are covered with a parchment membrane from the secretions of the genital tract. The abdomen, flattening, covers the egg packet. On average, the female lays about 60 eggs. The newly born young frees are first under the belly, after a few days they begin to molt and they diverge. The one that falls, without waiting for molting, runs the risk of being eaten by a female.

During mating rituals, males arrange "combat" tournaments for the right to be a leader. In some cases, this resembles a real fight. The battle is considered complete when one of the contestants leaves the battlefield. The mating ritual of frees looks very simple: the victorious male with his pedipalps begins to lead the female to the spermatophore, where she lays eggs.

Frees are terrible but harmless spiders

Freen is a spider, which has neither spider's glands nor glands secreting poison. Despite the fact that this creature is terrible, in relation to people it is harmless. In English-speaking countries, frees are called scorpions - whips, as well as scourge-spiders. In fact, they do not belong to either, or to either.

It's pointless to believe that frees are poisonous. They look awesome, but in reality these predators are very cowardly. They are afraid of any movements and even shadows. It's quite difficult to make a photo of them.

Content at home

At home it is quite possible to keep this species in groups in which 1 male and 2-3 females. The spinner is a spinner who is an inhabitant of the rain forest, where there is a high humidity. Hence, at home they should be in a terrarium, the size of which is 40 x 40 x 45 cm. It should have ventilation and normal humidity, for which you can pour about 6 cm of substrate. In addition, you should put a drinker with clean water.

Pets in the place prepared for them will be cozy, if there put many snags, branches, plants and pieces of bark. Freemen among all this abundance will arrange their homes and hunt. Protect the inhabitants of the terrarium from direct sunlight is necessary. It is better to illuminate the lamp of moonlight.

Of great importance is feeding in sufficient quantities, if this is not observed, cannibalism is inevitable. The best food for frees is crickets or small Turkmen cockroaches.
