František Pechka became widely known for the role of Gustav Yelena in the serial film about the war "Four Tankmen and a Dog". Born actor 18.01.1928 in the city of Godov (Poland). At the age of twenty-six he graduated from the theatrical school in Warsaw. At the same time, he played his first role in the movie - the German patrol in the film "Generation" directed by Andrzej Wajda.

František Stove is known for his work in the theater. During his career he played in the troupes of the city of Jelenia Góra, Kraków, Warsaw. Since 1974, he was listed as an actor of the Povshechna Theater (Warsaw).

All these images he skillfully embodied in himself. Once the Polish film director Kazimierz Kutz said of him that the Stove "... can safely assume the role of Lord God."

Before the beginning of filming in the film, the actor was already well known both in his country and in the USSR. The image of Gustlik did not introduce him into the network of one role, as happened with the actor Janusz Gajos, who played Jan Kos.

František Pechka after the release of the first series began to receive a lot of suggestions from the directors. The premiere of the film 09.09.1966. Then the show was shown in three stages - 1966, 1969, 1970. During this time, 21 series of films were shot and released on television screens each lasting 50-60 minutes each. All the series had their names and the logical conclusion of the plot.

The series refers to the genre of military and adventure films. Its directors were Andrzej Chekalsky and Konrad Naletsky.

Gustlyk Eleni

One of the main characters in the film is Gustlik. He was born in Poland, and before the war worked as a blacksmith at a factory in Silesia. This region was connected with Germany in a national historical sense, therefore one of the first was annexed to the Third Reich.

The hero has among his relatives Germans. Initially, he was called to fight on the side of Germany, but was sent to the Eastern Front and soon moved to the side of the Red Army.

He was very powerful. An example is the episode in which Gustlik was able to twist the nail with his bare hands, pulling it out of the pine before that. The nail in the tree drove with the help of a tank mechanic Grigory.

By nature Gustlik was a good-natured man, he often held back his comrades from doing rash acts, including causing harm to captured Germans. Once he even gets acquainted with Kugel, who was at that time a prisoner German officer. Together they help the Soviet troops enter the city of Ricen. Subsequently, Kugel participates in the restoration of the liberated city.

There is in the film "Four Tankmen and a Dog" and a lyric line. Gustav is in love with his countrywoman, whom he and his comrades released from the Germans. The last series entitled "House" ends with a double wedding of the heroes. Janek marries Marusya, and Gustlik marries his beloved Honorata.

Together with his team, which consisted of three Poles, one Georgian and a dog named Sharik, the characters became well-coordinated with the crew of the T-34 tank. Officially, he had an onboard number 102, but on the plot of the film he was given the nickname "Redhead" in honor of one of the heroines, who had reddish hair.

For any actor, the biggest reward is the love of the audience and the demand among the directors. This in the work of František Pechka was even more than he would have liked.
