Existing types of speech in Russian

Depending on the content of the utterance, its meaning and meaning, separate types of speech are singled out. In the Russian language there are only three of them: narration, description, and reasoning. Each of them has its own characteristics. Consider all types of speech in the Russian language, as well as their characteristics. So, let's begin.

Type of speech: narrative

If a person talks about an event, describes the course of its development in time and the successive actions of which it consists, then certainly his statement falls under the characterization of this species. All types of speech in the Russian language have pronounced signs, and we can say that one of the most important properties of the narrative is that it consists of certain parts. Always at first such a statement involves an outset. It describes the beginning of a particular action. Then the situation develops, and then the climax. This part describes the most important point in the development of the action being told. The final stage in the narrative is the denouement, or the end of the story. In works of art, often these parts are not arranged in the usual order for greater effect. In connection with the fact that in the narrative the actions are described in time sequence, often in the utterances of this type, the corresponding words (then, then) are used, as well as verbs in the past tense.

Description

The types of speech in the Russian language are directly related to the content. And if the sense of the narrative is to tell about some events that have taken place, then the description serves to reveal a phenomenon through its signs and features. The subject that is characterized, can be anything: from person to place. For this type of utterance, a distinctive feature is that it uses a lot of adjectives. The description is common in all styles of speech. Most often it is used in scientific and artistic texts. And if in the first case the dry enumeration of features of this or that phenomenon predominates, then in the second situation, a lot of comparisons, a play of words and other highlights of the Russian language are used.

Reasoning

This type of speech is used to describe the causes of any phenomena or properties. Depending on the degree of categorical judgment, such a statement may be an explanation, a proof, or simply a reflection. The reasoning also consists of separate parts. The first of these - the thesis - determines what needs to be proved. It can be any object or phenomenon. The second part consists directly of arguments and evidence. Completing the same argument is always a conclusion. There is one important feature of this statement. Everybody knows the chain and parallel types of communication in the Russian language. In the argument, as a rule, there is a second form. The thesis is the starting point of reasoning, and the evidence has a direct connection with it.
