An example of moral duty in works of art is one of the most common themes in the works. As a rule, most of the classics' works somehow raise questions of morality. High moral or, on the contrary, immoral behavior of heroes very often are the engines of the plot, especially in Russian classical literature.

An example of a moral duty in Russian literature can best be traced on the example of novels and novels of Pushkin. Masha Troyekurova, becoming the wife of Prince Vyazemsky, refuses to flee with Dubrovsky, although he understands that he will spend his whole life with an unloved person. From this point of view, Tatiana is much higher than the main character of the novel. By her act she is an example of a moral duty, which gives the product a deep moral meaning.

Moral feat heroes "Captain's daughter"

Peter Grinev, following the behest of his father, protects his noble honor and even under threat of execution refuses to recognize the impostor as a legitimate sovereign. Such a position is respected even by the robber Pugachev, who is struck by the firmness of this young man, his steadfastness and not only preserves the hero's life, but also helps to rescue the captain's daughter from misfortune. Under arrest, Peter Grinev does not lose dignity and faith in the truth, and hope does not deceive him: in the end, justice triumphs, and Catherine II signs a decree on release.

Masha Mironova also shows an example of a moral duty, having remained faithful to Peter Grinev and having achieved his justification. Her deed is all the more significant, because almost no one believed in his innocence: even his own father refused to believe this. That's why Pushkin made the girl the main character of her story, calling her work in her honor.

Examples of the fulfillment of moral duty are shown in the works of Leo Tolstoy, who attached special importance to the moral development of his characters. The most vivid example is the novel "Sunday", whose protagonist, feeling guilt in front of a girl whose life because of him was broken, is trying his best to help her. The author describes in detail his experiences, especially focusing on the humanistic values that the hero adheres to, despite his somewhat frivolous nature.

The moral significance of heroes of military literature

Examples of moral duty from life, films, literature are best viewed in works dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, because their stories are based on real events, and the actions of the characters are determined by the values that guided Soviet society at the time. A peculiarity of describing the moral feats of people is the amazing truthfulness of the narrative, as these hard trials were written by authors who were themselves participants in the war.

The best example in this case is the work "Young Guard", as it tells about young men and women who have independently taken up illegal work. Examples of moral duty from life, literature can continue to review the famous novel by S. Bronte, which in many respects is autobiographical. In it, the writer described her difficult life, which is probably why the work is very believable.

The main heroine in its difficult fate is guided solely by moral principles, which causes respect for others, including Mr. Rochester, a wealthy aristocrat who is ready to violate the moral barrier to please his feelings (even if sincere).

But the girl too cherished those values that she had learned in the years of hard trials, and therefore, despite her deep and strong affection for her master, leaves him when it comes to the terrible truth that he is already married. The hard and decisive nature of the heroine is respected by another main character in the novel - her cousin St. John. He himself, being firm and determined by nature, has to reckon with the values of Jane.

Works of cinema about responsibility and conscientiousness of heroes

Examples of the moral duty of the films can be given a lot. This theme was especially bright in the old cinema, when the directors often raised questions about moral values, showed the complex psychological struggle of the heroes, who, for example, had to make difficult choices in a difficult life situation. It is noteworthy that this topic was presented to the viewer not only as a drama, but often as a melodrama or even a lyrical comedy.

Of the foreign films in this series, it should first of all mention the painting "Roman holidays". The main heroine of the film in a remarkable performance O. Hepburn sacrifices his personal happiness for the sake of fulfilling his duty to the country, realizing that the princess should be guided, first of all, by state, political, and not by her own interests.

From the domestic cinema, perhaps, you can call a comedy film "Big Change". The protagonist of the picture is a simple teacher Nestor Petrovich - guided solely by his moral and moral beliefs that the teacher should take care of his charges, patiently and assiduously helps the students in a variety of life situations.
