Emoxipine (injections)

"Emoxipine" (injections) refers to the pharmacotherapeutic group of antiplatelet agents, antihypoxants and antioxidants. Medication is an angioprotector, microcirculatory corrector. "Emoxipin" (injections) has the ability to reduce the permeability of the vascular wall, the viscosity of blood and its coagulability. The properties of the drug include strengthening the fibrinolysis process and improving microcirculation.

"Emoksipin" (injections) is able to effectively inhibit free radical oxidation of biomembrane lipids, increase the activity of antioxidant enzymes. The drug has an antitoxic effect, stabilizing action on cytochrome P-450. When used in extreme cases, which are accompanied by hypoxia and increased peroxide lipid oxidation, the drug is able to optimize bioenergetic processes.

The drug "Emoxipin" protects the retina from the negative effects of intense light, promotes resorption of intraocular hemorrhage.

The medication reduces the manifestations of cerebral hemodysfunction, contributes to the increase of brain resistance to ischemia and hypoxia. With disorders of the blood circulation of the brain (hemorrhagic and ischemic) actively participates in the correction of vegetative dysfunctions, the restoration of brain integrative activity.

The drug is able to exert a hypolipidemic effect, reduce the synthesis of triglycerides. The drug has pronounced cardioprotective properties. The drug "Emoxipin" promotes the expansion of coronary vessels, the reduction of ischemic damage to the myocardium. In the case of myocardial infarction, the drug can limit the size of the necrosis focus, accelerate the reparative processes, normalize myocardial metabolism. "Emoxipine" (injections) has a beneficial effect in the clinical manifestations of myocardial infarction, reducing the incidence of heart failure in acute form. The drug is involved in the regulation of oxidation-reduction processes in the absence of blood circulation.

The drug is used in ophthalmology in the treatment of central chorioretinal dystrophies, dystrophic changes in the retina on the background of myopia in high degree, diabetic retinopathy. The drug can be prescribed for occlusion in the central vein of the retina and its branches, glaucoma, optico-neuropathy of different genesis.

"Emoxipin" is used in neurosurgery and neurology with hemorrhagic stroke, ischemic stroke in the vertebrobasilar system and the carotid artery (internal) basin, with transient circulatory disturbances in the brain, chronic insufficiency. The medication is prescribed for craniocerebral trauma, accompanied by brain contusions, in the period after operations associated with craniocerebral trauma, hematomas.

Cardiologists prescribe medication to patients with myocardial infarction (acute), in order to prevent "syndrome of reperfusion", unstable angina.

In surgery, the drug is used for chronic and acute pancreatitis, peritonitis, including in the preoperative and postoperative period.

Dosage and duration of therapy are prescribed by the doctor individually.

With subconjunctival and retrobulbar injection, there may be pain, burning, redness, itching, and seals of paraorbital tissues that dissolve independently. Intravenous administration may be accompanied by burning along the vessel. In some cases, there is drowsiness or agitation, an increase in blood pressure. Patients susceptible to allergies, in some cases, have reddening of the skin and itching.

The drug is not prescribed during pregnancy and with individual intolerance.

The use of medication should be accompanied by constant control over the level of blood pressure and blood coagulability.
