Electric stoves Gorenje: instructions, reviews

No kitchen can be imagined without the main assistant in cooking - plates. The milestone of taming the fire by man was marked by the appearance of modern heating devices, among which the electric plates "Gorenie" can not be ignored unnoticed. For more than half a century, a company from Slovenia has been pleased with consumers with quality and functional goods at reasonable prices. In the company's range of kitchen stoves are represented by three types: gas, combined and electric. What is the advantage of the last plates and what is their cost will be discussed in this article.

From agricultural equipment to slabs

The history of the company, which is now revered by sixty countries on all continents, began in the postwar years in the Yugoslav village of Gorenje. At first it was a blacksmith shop. Her staff in the state for 1950 was 10 people. When the head of the workshop became Ivan Ateleshek, production diversification began . Along with popular fruit presses, a small enterprise in 1956 patented the first thresher.

After the successful introduction of new agricultural devices, the company in the following years sold 150 more patents. Two years later Gorenye switched to mass production. Then, in 1958, the enterprise produced the first solid-fuel furnaces, called "Tobi".

Moving the company to the mining town of Velenje also had a positive impact on the development of production. There, the metalworking organization was located in the free premises of a mining enterprise that was interested in creating jobs for women whose husbands worked in coal plants. Then they saw the light, first released, gas and electric plates "Gorenie".

Modern Types

The variety of this type of household appliances is great. The Slovenian firm, keeping up to date, produces three types of kitchen stoves. These are gas, electric and combined models. The gas type of the stationary plate is brought into operation by means of natural gas supplied to the burners of the device.

The Gorenje electric cooker differs from the gas analogue in that the current source is its supply. In the line of the Slovenian company, this type of plates combines three types of instruments: induction, glass-ceramic and with cast-iron pancakes. Each of them has its advantages and disadvantages, but more on that later.

The combined plate is mainly represented by a combination of gas burners and an electric oven. However, the K613E02 WKA series, the only one in this segment, combined in its execution two gas, two electric burners plus a multi-function oven with heating elements and a fan.

Variety of electric models

Gorenje electric oven is represented by three variants of execution. Externally, two of them can not be distinguished: they have a cooking surface made of glass ceramics, the difference is only in the heating element. In an induction device, heating is performed using a magnetic field created by eddy currents. In the usual version of the plate of glass-ceramic dishes are cooked thanks to a resistive heating element.

The simplest version of the electric cooker is the appliance, the cooking surface of which is made of metal with cast-iron plates.

Features of electric stove

According to the functional of the ovens, the electric plates "Gorenie" with a glass ceramic surface or pancake burners are not particularly distinguished. However, there is a significant difference in them - this is the time to enter the operating mode after power-up. The device with cast-iron pancakes warms up for about one and a half minutes, while the glass-ceramic hobs are ready to cook after 10 seconds.

The disadvantage of traditional plates with metal burners is the failure of the spiral under cast iron pancakes. On average, their service life is 3 years. Elimination of breakage requires replacement of this part. For electric ovens "Gorenye" its cost is from 1,5 thousand rubles plus the work of the master.

At the same time, the weakness of glass-ceramic models is their inability to withstand impacts. If you break such a model, then it will be more appropriate to change the entire slab, since its restoration will cost the consumer 70% of the cost of the new kitchen appliance.

Induction patterns of heating devices are convenient in operation due to rapid heating, saving energy, but they also have their drawbacks. Their main drawback is the need to purchase special dishes for cooking.

Oven types

What is the grief of the housewives, when the expended energy for cooking a favorite dish in the oven becomes in vain because of a poor-quality household appliance. After all, the situation is familiar to everyone that when baking pies in Soviet gas ovens, it was necessary to rearrange the pan so that the dessert was cooked evenly. When progress has stepped forward and electric heating devices have appeared to prepare gastronomic delights in an enclosed space, many consumers immediately fell in love with such models. The "Burning" stove with an electric oven also became a favorite in the arsenal of cooks.

The matter is that in such designs the uniform distribution of heat is provided. Heating elements are located both from below and from above, and they work together, and separately.

Slovenian electric stoves are produced with electric (classical) and multifunctional ovens. The latter have the setting of several operating modes. In addition to the classic heating, there is the possibility of using grilling, convection, maintaining the temperature regime of freshly cooked food, pizza mode and steam cleaning.

"Burning" plate: instruction

In order for the product to be faithful and true before operation, it is necessary to familiarize yourself with the documents offered by the manufacturer for studying the correct operation of the device. The firm "Gorenie" applies individual instructions for each type of plates.

General recommendations for electrical models:

  1. Necessity of checking the conformity of the electrical network voltage to the requirements for the connection of a new kitchen heater. This is an additional voltage of 220 or 380 volts.
  2. The plate is installed by the master of the service organization, which in the "Warranty card" indicates the date of installation. From it begins the countdown of days of warranty repair, according to which in the certified centers it is possible to replace the out-of-service and contract parts for electric stoves.
  3. Use the appliance only for its intended purpose. Do not operate the cooker as a space heater.
  4. Before the first preparation of food, it is necessary to clean the device of packing materials and wash it.
  5. A separate section in the instructions to the plates is devoted to proper care. This is especially true for glass-ceramic surfaces.

Rules for preserving the appearance of the plate

The new product always pleases the eye with its aesthetic appearance. To the brilliance and beauty of the glass-ceramic surface of the plate remained for a long time, you must adhere to a few simple rules for care.

It is advisable to wipe the kitchen appliance with a damp sponge after each cooking. Do not use abrasives and metal wool for cleaning. To clean glass ceramics, stain removers, universal cleaning compounds and household chemicals for the bathroom are not suitable.

Some electric cookers "Gorenie" in the set have scrapers, which are designed to remove the baked remains of food. Such a tool can be purchased separately. Small dirt can be cleaned with washing-up gels or spray for windows.

Clean the surface of the burners after they have completely cooled down, the surface itself can be wiped during cooking, as it does not heat up. In addition to special tools for cleaning glass ceramics, there are also artisanal methods of care. For example, instead of a scraper, some consumers use a conventional shaving machine pre-moistened with vegetable oil.

Embedded models

A few years ago, a trend began for embedded technology. In this case, when overhauling the premises with the replacement of the furniture set, special devices are purchased. In the line of the Slovenian company, in addition to standard slabs, there are special surfaces that are mounted in the countertop. They are issued in five types. This built-in "Burning" electric plate on a metal or glass-ceramic substrate, as well as induction, gas and combined.

Advantages of built in the kitchen set of surfaces

Such models are not in vain in great demand because their advantages are obvious:

  1. Compactness. The standard electric cooker "Burning" 60x60 can be replaced with a two-plate panel 30 x 51 cm.
  2. Purity. Typically, between the stationary kitchen heater and the countertop, crevices are formed, into which food crumbs inevitably fall. In the case of the embedded version, such troubles are excluded, since the panel is integrated with the table top and forms a continuous surface.
  3. Possibility of refusal from the oven. The hob "Gorenie" can be installed without an oven, and this is another plus in oversized kitchens.

The service life of the products declared by the manufacturer is 10 years. Those who use the technique of "Burning" for cooking, in most cases confirm the longevity of electric cookers. And the consumption of electricity during the operation of negative plates increases by 100-150 kW.
