Ekaterina Usik prefers not to discuss politics with her husband
Ekaterina Usik, wife of Alexander Usik, prefers not to discuss with his spouse the political upheavals. This is not surprising, because Catherine - a Russian and currently lives with her children in the Crimea, and her husband - a Ukrainian boxer and Olympic champion Alexander - was born and raised in Ukrainian Simferopol.
Family tactics
Family tactics - "another's policy should not be between us" - retained their nerves, and, possibly, marriage.
Talking with Catherine Osadchy and other journalists working for the "1 + 1" TV channel, Ekaterina Usik talked about how she lives in the Crimea, shared her plans for the near future and the impressions she received from her trip to the Crimea, where her husband was fighting.
Crossing the borders did not take away her strength or time, she told reporters Catherine Usik. Wife of Usik is no less recognizable in Ukraine than her titled husband, so she passed all the cordons without delay.
In Crimea, according to Catherine, she lives well, because her and children are surrounded by normal, adequate people. Tales of horrors and facts of harassment of Ukrainian citizens Catherine denied directly on the air.
About moving to Kiev
Ekaterina Usik assured Ukrainian journalists that the move to Kiev, of course, is part of her plans, because both she and the children want to be closer to Alexander, who now works in the Ukrainian capital. December 12, Catherine's husband proved that he is still worthy of the title of "WBO Intercontinental Champion", winning his ninth professional fight.
At present, Ekaterina Usik lives with her children in Simferopol and, judging by her answers to journalists' questions, does not feel any pressure from the Crimeans.
However, moving to the Ukrainian capital is not far off. Catherine explains her intention not only by her personal desire to be closer to her husband, but also by the behavior of Elizabeth's eldest daughter, who, as it turned out, is easier to observe his father's success while sitting in the auditorium than to watch his victories on television.
The eldest daughter comes to fight for the second time and, despite the fears of the parents, boxing does not cause her negative emotions. A single case of a surge of negative experiences was noticed in the baby, when the guard did not let her into the arena: the little girl was upset that she was not allowed to congratulate her father first on another victory.
