Easter service in various concessions

Congratulations on the Easter day sounds on different occasions in various religious concessions and countries. In Judaism Easter (Peysah) is celebrated in connection with the exodus of the Jews from Egypt and their liberation from slavery. And Christians associate this holiday with the resurrection of Jesus Christ. And in this case the word "Easter" is supposed to have come from the Greek word "pascein", which means "suffer."

The date of Easter for Orthodox holidays is set as the first Sunday after the 1st new moon, which took place after the equinox in the spring (March 21). It is indicated in the Easter eggs - special tables for determining this date. At the same time, for the Catholic and Orthodox churches, there are different Paschalia, which is due to the fact that the Gregorian calendar is taken for the Catholic calculus , and for the Orthodox - Julian. Paysah is celebrated for a week in March, which corresponds to a biblical indication that the celebration begins on the fourteenth day of the month Nisan.

Easter dishes also differ for holidays of different nations. It is customary for Jews not to use any products containing leaven to perform the religious rites, and even to own them. Matzah, bitter greens, wine or grape juice participate in the celebration, as well as a symbolic roast chicken or lamb leg, which is not used for food. It symbolically represents the sacrificial lamb.

In the Orthodox tradition, Easter eggs are prepared for Easter, Easter curd and Easter cake. Kulich is a symbol of the presence of God's beginning in the life of man and in the whole world, and Easter is the prototype of the Heavenly Kingdom, the sweetness of paradise life.

Easter service in Orthodox traditions begins at midnight local time between the Great Saturday and the Great Sunday from the service of the Paschal Matins and, sometimes, the Paschal Liturgy. Services end with the procession. After the service there is a breakdown - you can eat not only lean food. Believers illuminate the Easter products in the temple. Easter festivals last for 40 days after Easter, including during Easter Sunday.

In the Catholic church, the Easter service has a slightly different schedule. Here is the Easter triduum - services of Great Thursday, Great Friday and Great Saturday. On the night of Sunday the Liturgy of Light is served. It is interesting that a large Easter candle (Easter eggs) is lit from a fire, diluted in the courtyard of the temple. Easter is brought to the church with the reading "The Light of Christ." Then read "The proclamation of Easter," the Liturgy of the Word, the hymn "Gloria" is performed, as well as "Hallelujah." Easter service in Catholic churches allows for the baptism of adults - the Liturgy of Baptism follows in the rite of the Liturgy of the Word.

The Easter service in the Jewish tradition includes the evening meal (Seder), when on the first and second day of Easter the story of the Exodus is read, based on the book of the Haggadah. In the synagogues the "Song of Songs" is read. On the seventh day of the holiday, which symbolizes the final release, in synagogues and religious schools a celebration of the "division of waters" is arranged.
