The "quilling" technique makes it possible to make amazingly beautiful eggs for Easter. In addition to them, you will need color paper, glue and a wooden toothpick. These are all the items that are necessary to embody interesting ideas, using quilling. The Easter egg will turn into a real work of art and will become the object of your pride.

How to make an egg preparation

It's not difficult to make such a beautiful hand-made article with your own hands. You can buy a piece of eggs or make it yourself. If you want to use the second option, then you will need newspapers. They need to be crushed and lowered for a few minutes into the water. From this begins the Easter Quilling.

When they are soaked, wring out, removing excess moisture, and form an egg from them. Put it in a bowl and put it in a warm place until it dries completely. After this you will have to prime the surface of the workpiece with acrylic paint of white color, then cover with PVA glue and allow to dry.

Quilling begins now. The Easter egg will soon turn out to be as beautiful as the photo. To do this, you need to prepare the necessary.

Sample # 1 - for beginners

If you want to decorate the workpiece with pinkish-blue elements, take a two-sided paper of such colors. In addition to it you will need a thin iron ruler and clerical glue. It is inconvenient to cut thin strips with scissors, so we will not need them here.

Attach the ruler to the straight edge of the blue paper. Step back from it 2-3 mm, cut the thin tape with a clerical knife. Move the ruler and cut the next strip of the same width. You will need about 150 strips. If you do not want to cut so much, do less. Then you decorate not everything, but part of the egg, laying on his surface a picture. If you want, that you had not only small, but also large flowers, then cut out strips of pink paper. Glue some ribbons of this color to the blue strips.

We continue not a difficult but painstaking work

Wrap the paper strips on the toothpick, then loosen the resulting spiral slightly, glue its free end to the base. So, make all the paper parts.

Now you can start decorating the workpiece in the "quilling" technique. Easter egg will turn out the same as in the photo, if you will paste on the newspaper blank just made elements, looking at the clue. To do this, glue large pink-blue spirals in the form of flowers on the sharp and blunt end of the egg, on its sides . The space between them fill with blue blanks. The second idea - we start with the egg

If you want to reproduce more intricate patterns, then you will need paper pink, green, red, yellow. You will make such an article even faster than the first, as there is no need to do many elements here. In addition, there is no need to make a workpiece, take a chicken egg, but first boil it hard. To the shell does not burst, before cooking, remove the egg from the refrigerator and allow it to warm up at room temperature. Then salt the water well, then the shell will not burst.

You can buy strips that are designed for this kind of needlework, or make them yourself. If you prefer to do everything yourself from start to finish, then put a sheet of 2-sided pink paper in front of you and, as described above, cut a few strips, the width of which is 3 mm.

Of them, winding on a toothpick, make a few spiral. Do not forget to glue the free end to make the figures complete. Now each spiral should be given a slightly different shape. This can be a "drop", a "bird's foot", a "curved drop". More details will be given in the next section on how to do these and other basic elements of the quilling technique. And while a little loosen the twisted spiral, squeeze it on one side so that the inner curls slightly unfolded. You got a "drop". Glue this element to the egg and several similar ones - side by side.

To make a flower stem, cut a strip of green color 3 mm thick, 15 cm long. Screw it onto a toothpick or needle spiral, placing the subsequent curl under the previous one. Cut out semi-circular leaves from the same paper, glue these parts of the flower into place.

Quilling - the main elements

How to make a "spiral" and "drop" was told above, now about how to make an element called "bird's foot", or, as it is called, "cross". It is also made from a "spiral". Slightly loosen it, shape the triangle. Do not make one of the corners clearly. Pull the opposite side to it, press it with your finger, so that the straight line becomes concave.

"Arrow" is obtained from a weakened spiral, from which you also first form a triangle, and then two of its angles will attract each other and press them with your fingers to fix it.

Leave a small distance between these figures, so that the folding place turns into the center of the heart. Fasten the two spirals on top with glue.

How to make leaves

To do the latter, just stretch the spiral in opposite directions, squeeze each of the two resulting corners. One of them is more precise - this is the top part of the sheet. Quilling, master class

Cut the strips of green color, twist from them tight spirals, glue them, laying in the shape of ovals, from one and the other side of the egg. If you want these blanks, as in the photo, to have a core of dark green color, glue them to these places on a bead.

From paper ribbons of orange color twist elements "S", glue them inside and outside the green ovals.

Now you need to make roses. To do this, screw a strip of orange on the toothpick. Make 2 turns - this is the core of the flower. Now twist the paper tape. Do each turn for two such folds - on opposite sides of the flower.

Before you paste roses, from long strips of green make large "leaves". Glue them first, then roses, after which your Easter eggs will be ready.
