However, such anomalous heat here is extremely rare. But the coldest month is January, when the air is cooled to -2, maximum to -7 degrees. As you can see, the winter for this region is more than soft, but fabulously snowy and incredibly beautiful. In Latvia, precipitation of any type is not uncommon. For most of the year the sky over the country is overcast.

Those who have already visited Latvia immediately notice that this is an age-old European country. And a long stay in the USSR did not change the customs and customs of this people. Since 2004, Latvia, like its close neighbors - Lithuania and Estonia - has become part of the EU, having joined the big European family.
