Do you know what a bidet is?
Residents of the former Soviet Union in the bulk of it could hardly identify this design under a strange name for the Russian ear - bidet. Most likely, they would have decided that they had an unusual toilet bowl in front of them. And jokes, told in close companies about the fact that someone has confused these plumbing devices without knowing what a bidet is, have a real basis. Today this device is no longer something alien and fantastic. It can be found not only in hotel rooms, but also in private apartments. However, not as often as it would be desirable.
Let's briefly tell what a bidet is, and how to use it. The bidet is a special device designed to keep different, especially intimate places clean, and other parts of the human body clean. And it can be used by both women and men. Yes, many still believe that the bidet is designed exclusively for washing the female genitalia, but it is not. Hygiene and sanitation are also mandatory for men. It looks something like this.
The history of the appearance of the bidet goes back to the seventeenth century. It was then when the French royal court appeared its first resemblance - baths with water on high legs. Of course, there was no dream of running water, the legacy of the Romans was not preserved in France, but there were servants who filled the old bidet with warm water.
There are no strict rules in using the bidet. You can sit down on it from any side. It all depends on how it is located, and how it is convenient for you to use it. In the immediate vicinity of it is desirable to keep a roll of paper towels. This is much more convenient than using fabric, since it is assumed that the bidet is intended for all members of the family. Paper towels are disposable and do not require regular washing, so there will be no need for additional care to ensure sterility.
