And it can be used by both women and men. Yes, many still believe that the bidet is designed exclusively for washing the female genitalia, but it is not. The history of the appearance of the bidet goes back to the seventeenth century. It was then when the French royal court appeared its first resemblance - baths with water on high legs. Of course, there was no dream of running water, the legacy of the Romans was not preserved in France, but there were servants who filled the old bidet with warm water.

Moreover, they do not look too similar. But how exactly will you use it? The question is not rhetorical, since even those who have a bidet floored at home in the bathroom do not always know that it can be used not only for washing. It is very convenient to wash your feet before going to bed, for example, and you can bathe small children and pets in it. Yes, do not be surprised and do not wrinkle your fastidious nose. You do not cope with it, but only wash, almost like in a bath. The bathroom you do not disdain because of the fact that you regularly wash it. And the bidet needs to be treated exactly the same way.

If a special bidet mixer is attached to it, in which the faucet can turn in any direction, it is possible to direct the water jet both upward and downward. Agree that it is very convenient. But do not think that if you regularly use it and know exactly what a bidet is, then you do not need to take a bath or shower. With all the convenience of the design, you will hardly be able to wash your head in this miracle of plumbing. And the pleasure to soak in a fragrant bath it will not replace.

There are no strict rules in using the bidet. You can sit down on it from any side. It all depends on how it is located, and how it is convenient for you to use it. In the immediate vicinity of it is desirable to keep a roll of paper towels. This is much more convenient than using fabric, since it is assumed that the bidet is intended for all members of the family. Paper towels are disposable and do not require regular washing, so there will be no need for additional care to ensure sterility.
