Gael Kakuta is a Congolese winger of French origin. For this he is only 25 years old, so he is at the peak of his playing career. Gael Kakuta takes the position of the left winger, but is at the same time an attack universal, so you can move to the right flank, and also take the position of the central attacking midfielder.

Gael Kakuta was born June 21, 1991 in France and started playing football at the age of seven - then he enrolled in the academy of the club "Lille-Moulin", but stayed there only one year. Already in 1999, he joined the academy of a large club "Lansa", in which he trained for eight years. Even then he was looked after by the scouts of one of the strongest clubs in England - "Chelsea", who invited the young player to himself. As a result, he spent the last two years of his youth career in a London club, and in 2009 signed a professional contract with him. However, Gael Kakuta was never able to prove himself in Chelsea.

The game for Chelsea and the lease

Initially, Chelsea counted on the Congolese, so he played for a double and was periodically called to the main team. In his first season, Gael Kakuta, a footballer with high hopes, only appeared on the field four times, and in the second - already 12, but the club decided that the winger needed practice in order to qualify for a place in the base. Therefore Kakuta went on a long and uninterrupted journey of rent. T-shirt "Chesley" he no longer put on. First he spent six months in Fulham, playing seven games and scoring one goal. Then he spent the first half of the season 11/12 in the "Bolton", going on the field six times and marking with one ball. Then Gael finished the season in the French "Dijon", where he appeared on the field 16 times, scoring five goals.

After that, a long-term lease for a year and a half to Dutch "Vitesse" followed, where Kakuta played in forty matches and scored four goals. Another half a year he played in the Italian "Lazio", but there he was able to enter the field only two times. In 2014, Kakuta went to the Spanish club "Rayo Vallecano" for an entire season and there showed an impressive result - 35 matches, five goals and an enthusiastic audience. By the time Gael was 24 years old, Chelsea no longer regarded him as a young and promising football player. But the speeches for the "Rayo Vallecano" took a closer look at the great Spanish club "Seville". The Spaniards paid Chelsea six million euros, and Kakuta moved to Sevilla.

Going to Sevilla

However, in a new place, the player did not get it - in six months he appeared on the field only five times, scoring only one goal. Gaël would most likely have dropped into a deep reserve, but then the Chinese club Hebei China Fortun, which offered five million for the Congolese, appeared. "Sevilla" agreed, and in February 2016 Kakuta moved to China.

Moving to China

With the Chinese club winger signed a contract until December 2012 and that season he entered the field in his composition already 22 times, scoring two goals and giving three assists.

National team appearances

In his youth Kakuta played for the youth teams of France of different age categories, since he was born in the territory of this country, and therefore had the right to choose. Together with the youth he even won the European Championships in 2010, becoming the best player of the tournament. But when Kakuta outgrew this level, he realized that in the adult team of France he will not have a chance. So he recently announced that he plans to play for the Congo national team and is now waiting for his first call. As of today, Gael has not a single match for the national team, be it the Congo or France, on a professional level. As for youth competitions, he played in sixty matches in different age categories, scoring fifteen goals.
