Garden clove perennial

The variety is derived by artificially crossing the most beautiful and healthy plants. In our country, the named carnation was brought from the Mediterranean countries. Its main difference is continuous flowering, which begins in the middle of June and ends only with the first frosts.

In the beginning of autumn flowers should be transplanted into garden pots, and the soil should be fertilized with a special balanced composition of microelements. During the growth period, care of the plant is required in the form of cutting off new sheets, forming a bush.

Carnation bush pinnate

The homeland of this kind of carnation is the slopes of the European mountains, from where it got its spread. The plant is planted by a bush method. The flowering period begins in the second year of growth. Inflorescences have two varieties: simple and double, while the flower itself has an unusual aroma that spreads throughout the garden.

A variety of color palette in pinnate cloves is the richest: white, pink, red, purple and maroon. Bushes on the flower bed are well combined with other plants.

This plant has been grown since ancient times - already in the eighteenth century, a Chinese clavic clove appeared in our region. The flower has a variety of shades and is excellent for growing on the territory of the Russian Federation. By the way, although this plant is perennial, Russian gardeners grow it as annual flowers. Carnation is formed in separate bushes with a length of shoots from 10 to 20 cm.

On the stems, in the places of formation of nodes, leaves are placed. Buds can be either monophonic or multi-colored. Chinese carnation is planted exclusively in places where there is a lot of sunlight - on open areas. The best for planting are sites with loamy soil.

The flowers are propagated by seeds, which are sown in a soil fed with microelements. Transplanting of seedlings from greenhouses is carried out during the warm season, the best for this procedure is the middle of May. About a month after the plant gives the shoots, the clove needs to be dived. The soil is fertilized twice for the entire period: after transplantation and during the tying of buds. The flowering period is at the end of summer.

Her homeland is Southern Europe. The flower has a bright inflorescence, a pleasant aroma and unpretentiousness during planting and growing. Reproduction and breeding of Turkish carnations is possible both for professional gardeners and beginners. The plant is easy to care for, it has several different colors, but it blooms, like most carnations, in the second year after the planting.
