With the help of Castejano, who translated all the information processing technologies and development of designer novelties into computerized versions, and using the services of 200 designers simultaneously, they managed to shorten the time from the origin of the idea to its implementation up to two weeks. While the standard design development and further processing by the famous Couturier takes half a calendar year. As a result, they can boast of new collections only once or twice a year.

In addition, zara's clothing was of a rather high quality, and models developed on the basis of fashion trends did not only taste to the Spanish buyers, but also to the foreign consumer.

In 1985, Zara joined the community of companies under the leadership of Amancio Ortega, which was named Industria de Diseño Textil SA, and in the reduction of Inditex. There also entered such well-known brands as Massimo Dutti, Pull and Bear, Oysho, Uterqüe, Stradivarius and Bershka.

Zara's success in the unusual policy of the company, which is more focused not on advertising, but on frequent (once every two weeks) the arrival of new models for sale. Due to this, it provided more frequent visits to the same customers, as the models are updated all the time, and the desire to purchase something from the new collection appears with each update.

According to statistics in Spain, one boutique of the famous brand visits the same visitor on average two or three times a year, despite the fact that Zara stores are visited by the same buyer up to 17 times a year. And, consequently, the bandwidth of Zara is much higher, which made this brand so famous.

The annual turnover of the company Zara is about 6.264 billion €.
