Happy childhood

Voskoboynikova Eugenia was born on January 10, 1984 in Voronezh. She was very active since childhood, she studied well at school, did public work, had many friends. Her childhood, despite the difficult times in the country, was happy. The family did not have much wealth, but there was love and care.

Years of study

After graduating from high school, Voskoboynikova Eugenia enters the Voronezh State University with a degree in ecology. She brilliantly studies, goes to the "red diploma" and at the same time she works as a model. About that stage of life, now Eugenia remembers with surprise. She says that she had distorted moral and vital values. There were many admirers around, but there was no real love. In the modeling business, she came from the desire to earn, and she succeeded, but life in this world was too limited. Today she does not communicate with former girlfriends-models at all, as their interests are greatly divided. At the age of 20 she was interested in a career, she was hanging out a lot, she became the winner of the contest "Lady Perfection-2005" and thought that her life was going well. But everything changed in a few moments.

Fatal blow

On February 17, 2005, the model agency celebrated its birthday, after the party, five young people got into the car, including Evgenia Voskoboynikova. The accident occurred instantly: the driver failed to control and hit a tree at great speed. All received injuries of varying severity, Zhenya had a broken thoracic calving of the spine, which led to paralysis of the lower extremities. She underwent two operations, but she did not manage to return the mobility. Eugenia says that at first time there was despair, she thought that life was over, began to gain weight, did not want to leave the house. But at one point I realized that in 20 years life does not end and began to learn to live in a new way. According to her, it is difficult to reconcile with her position, but you can get used to and learn how to live in the circumstances.

Life after the tragedy

Despite a large number of difficulties: getting used to a wheelchair, an unfriendly urban environment, people's misunderstanding, - Zhenya begins to communicate, engage in journalism. Voskoboynikova Yevgenia has been working for a year in the leading column on book novelties on the Voronezh television station Gubernia. Zhenya learned how to drive, although it was very difficult, she used to address strangers for help. Her life changed dramatically after the accident, but she says that the tragedy helped her to rethink her life and learn how to use her fully and beneficially for others.

Once Zhenya took part in conducting the broadcast on the radio "Silver Rain" together with Irina Khakamada, and she was heard by Natalya Sindeeva, the director of the television company "Rain". She called Eugene and invited to work. Zhenya became the leading news and correspondent of the social rubric. Eugenia Voskoboynikova, whose photo can be seen in fashion magazines and in materials about successful disabled people, together with Rain, is actively working on the formation of the right attitude towards disabled people, she participates in actions to build ramps, and helps to implement the program for employment of disabled people.

Active position

Eugenia Voskoboynikova, whose biography is forever associated with people with disabilities, leads a very rich social life. She went with disabled athletes to the Paralympics in London, was there as a commentator. Zhenya is an active participant in the Bezgraniz Couture movement, which defends the rights of disabled people, encourages people to recognize that people with disabilities do not need pity, but they need help and the opportunity to socialize. The movement conducts displays of clothes for people with particular body structure and Eugenia is the face of the contest and its presenter. She also worked in the jury of the film festival "Cinema without barriers", she travels a lot, communicating with friends.

Zhenya Voskoboynikova was able to prove with her own life that a disabled person is the same person as everyone else. In a social network, she met her future husband and was able to give birth to her daughter Marusya.
