Children's sanatorium "Nalibokskaya Pushcha"

Pine Forest, Islach River, remoteness of settlements - here is the children's sanatorium "Nalibokskaya Pushcha". This year-round health resort, in addition to providing effective treatment is organized and the educational process. Children are treated for treatment with skin, respiratory, digestive and cardiovascular diseases from 4 years old, for health improvement - from 6 years. The peculiarity of the sanatorium can be attributed to the fact that only children are accepted.

Location and infrastructure

In 1981, the children's sanatorium with the same name was founded in the territory of the largest forest in Belarus, in the Nalibok forest, in the pine forest of the Volozhin district. Within a radius of 40 km there are no harmful industries. It occupies 26 hectares of forest, where there are seven one-story houses with three- and four-bed rooms, calculated in the summer for 180, and in winter for 150 children admitted to the sanatorium. In the house there are toilets, showers, hot and cold water, dryers.

In the halls there are TVs and game rooms. The same one-story houses are occupied by the sanatorium administration, medical, school building, dining-club and hydropathic institution. On the territory of the sanatorium there is a playroom and an equipped children's playground. Children in the school period are trained in the school program from 0 to 9 grade.

In 2016 the sanatorium was reconstructed, equipment was updated and cosmetic repairs were carried out. The canteen feeds children in one shift, since there are 200 seats. There is a promising 24-day menu on diets №5, №10 and №15. Every day children are provided with fresh vegetables, fruits and dairy products.

The ticket to the sanatorium

The direction of the sanatorium is the treatment of schoolchildren from 6 to 13 years. The length of stay in the sanatorium "Nalibokskaya Pushcha" is determined by the time of rehabilitation or treatment and ranges from 12 days to 21 days.

The cost of a voucher for one child includes: six meals a day, lodging in the house, all types of examination and treatment of the underlying disease or rehabilitation measures after treatment. This includes the pedagogical process in the period of school education and cultural and entertainment programs. To enter the sanatorium, parents must prepare a set of documents, which includes: a voucher for a child, an extract from a hospital outpatient card, immunization packages, from a dermatologist and epidemiologist.

Medical base of the health resort

Sanatorium "Nalibokskaya Pushcha" is the only one in Belarus where children with skin diseases are treated. For therapy, mineral water is used for drinking and balneological treatment. Mud treatment is carried out by sapropel mud of Lake Dikoe. The medical fresh mud is brought to the sanatorium in sealed packages. It is applied in the form of applications and galvanic-mud procedures. Procedures for water and mud therapy are prescribed by therapists of the health resort, depending on the child's illness, indications and contraindications to treatment. The number of procedures depends on the number of days of therapy.

Natural therapeutic factors

Staying at the sanatorium "Nalibokskaya Pushcha" is shown to excitable children and children with chronic respiratory diseases. Clean air of mixed forest influences the child's organism in the form of aerotherapy with air games, sports grounds. Heliotherapy is received by children, taking sun baths at the artificial reservoir and on the "dry beach" of the sanatorium, where sun beds and umbrellas are installed. Bathing in the lake has a three-way effect on the child's skin - thermal, chemical and mechanical, which contributes to overall sanitation.

Since 2009, a speleoclimatic clinic has been operating on the territory of the sanatorium "Nalibokskaya Pushcha". This project was carried out under the guidance of Ph.D. A. S. Bogdanovich. From the Salihorsk potash mines, salt blocks were delivered. The procedures prescribed by therapists are taken by children with bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis with asthmatic components.

Frequent guests of the sanatorium are actors of the dramatic theater of the city of Molodechno and "Comic" - the theater of the city of Minsk.
