Chevrolet Silverado: convenient and safe pick-up

American companies Chevrolet and GMC presented an updated Silverado with the type of body pickup. Cars of the new series are even more convenient, safe, productive, and not very expensive.

Chevrolet Silverado 1500 has not been popular in the last two years, it remained competitive and ready to be updated only due to the past six years.

The best engineers of the company should be the new generation of the car, and from the old model there was almost nothing left, but the more powerful pickup, despite all the advantages, is not much more expensive than the previous models. The Chevrolet Silverado 3500 is 0.4 inches wider than the previous series cars. The body was enlarged due to the increase in the radiator grille, wings and doors. And this small increase helps to give the car a more powerful look. And if the other models of the company are equipped with aluminum wheels, the Chevrolet Silverado has large 20-inch chrome. The pickup is equipped with all-terrain tires (regardless of the size of the wheels). This makes the model not very suitable for trips on the asphalt surface, although if you replace the rubber, the pickup will also go well on the asphalt.

The rear door of the car is equipped with a special spring, thanks to which it was easier to close it twice. It also has a trunk lid, and now opening this compartment is as easy as closing it.

Great changes in relation to their "ancestors" underwent the interior design of the salon. And this is the first model in which the interior has become perfectly comfortable. The number of buttons was kept to a minimum, and the destination of the remaining ones became clear at a glance. All controls have been transferred to the dashboard, and each of them is not further away than at arm's length. You do not have to look away from the road while driving.

The new Chevrolet Silverado has an improved steering wheel, which has some controls, and a dashboard has been redesigned. It is both beautiful and easy to read. A large TFT-screen is installed between the tachometer and the speedometer, it provides the driver with all the necessary information about the car.

Strange, but the new model received a gearbox from its predecessors. Although it worked in older models without failures, the gearshift technology is already outdated. Engineers explained this by saying that they did not want the car to cost much more, and so they decided to upgrade only the cab and improve the transmission.

Cabin Silverado has excellent noise insulation. Sound-absorbing devices were mounted in the wings, and the doors were equipped with a triple layer of soundproof material. Probably, the Chevrolet Silverado will become one of the quietest pickups in Europe.

Experts from Chevrolet have done an impressive job on the new Silverado. And this model, of course, again can compete in the world market.
First, a standard four-wheel pick-up pickup will be on sale, but later, in 2013, the units will begin to appear with other types of cabs and cargo compartments.
