Central air conditioning: installation and application

The system of centralized cooling is used at enterprises, in public institutions, in swimming pools, etc., that is, in buildings with a very large area. In this case, a central air conditioner and a lot of fan coils are used - devices designed to distribute the cooled or warm air through the rooms. The fan coil units are connected to the central installation using the air duct system.

Installation of central air conditioners should be carried out taking into account various factors. The main device, which, depending on capacity and modification, can have a variety of sizes and shapes, is installed both inside the building and outside. Often these units are placed on the roof or in the basement, sometimes in special rooms located some distance from the building.

The central air conditioner must be installed in such a way as to prevent foreign objects such as foliage from entering it. In addition, under him often the foundation is laid for the same purposes. In the case of using the unit with an air cooling system, it must be mounted at a distance from the enclosing structures provided by the instruction. Otherwise, hot air, reflected from the obstacle, can get back into the device, which will lead to its shutdown.

When installing, you also need to take into account the noise level, which is different from the central air conditioner. The higher it is, the farther the device should be from working and living quarters. In addition, powerful structural elements must be installed on special supports that reduce the level of vibration.

Fancoils in appearance resemble conventional split-systems. They hang on the wall and perfectly fit into the design of the room. Sometimes they are made unassembled and mounted in the ceiling, then they are generally invisible. The central air conditioner is connected to them either by means of flexible plastic pipes or by means of rigid metal pipes. In the second case, the installation is more complicated, since at the same time the distribution valves are usually installed.

Of course, before starting the installation of a centralized cooling system, it is necessary to draw up a project. This takes into account the features of the room, system design, heat flow, etc.

The central air conditioners with all fan coil units are more expensive than conventional split systems, even if each room is equipped with a separate air-conditioner, for example, an office. But their popularity, in spite of this, is very high. The fact is that from conventional, individual cooling systems, they are favorably distinguished by such characteristics as higher power and performance. In addition, this system can work for dozens of years, without requiring repair and replacement. When using central air conditioners, the facade of the building is not cluttered with a huge number of structural elements .

Having installed such a device in an institution, in an enterprise or elsewhere, you will get a productive and durable system that will make the work in the room more comfortable.
