Materials

• Filters for hard cleaning - 2 pcs.
• Gas or adjustable keys up to 30 mm.
• Check valves, which allow to drain water exclusively in the direction of current, and also prevent mixing of water.
• Flexible connections (diameter 12 mm, length 1 m).

Step-by-step instruction

1. First of all, it is necessary to apply for the installation of a meter in the housing office (at the place of residence). The housing maintenance department must supply you with all necessary drawings and technical conditions that may be required in the work. 2. It is necessary to inspect the current state of the pipelines of hot and cold water, to find out whether there is a wiring from the risers. 1. The filter is connected to the water meter with a key. Before this, the thread must be wrapped in a FUM tape.

3. Once the structure has been assembled, water is blocked on the riser by means of a tap or valve. Then, with the help of the gas wrench, disassembly of the existing shot (unscrewing the coupling and the lock nut, a part of the pipeline is unscrewed from the stop valves).
4. In the formed rupture of the pipe, a structure with a water meter is installed, which is connected to the stop valves on both sides. In this case, the filter should be inserted from the side where water is connected, and the arrow-pointer on the device body is directed towards the flow side.
5. Similar actions are performed to install the second counter. Thus, you can install water meters yourself without any problems.
