Can Am helmets: types and characteristics

Can Am helmets are the result of many years of work by Bombarider Recreation Product, INC. (BPR), founded in 1942 in the Canadian city of Valcourt, Quebec. History of appearance

Using:

  • Can Am's snowmobile helmet is a fully enclosed modular Ski-Doo series. Can AM JSX-4 & ST3, Modular 3 also belong to closed models, they are used for trips in the cold season on any type of transport.
  • For ATVs, spiders, motorcycles - semi-open and cross, depending on the type of ride. Models: XP-R2, XP3; XC-4, X1, XC-3 and Enduro. Adolescent Can Am helmets: Junior Cross X1 Graffiti, X-1 Blaze.

Design features of cross models

Cross Can Am helmet, designed for aggressive riding with an increased risk of injury. Has a reinforced body with a forward chin. The material used depends on the model: XP-R2 - carbon with aramid fibers, XP3 - fiberglass; XC-4 XC-3 and Enduro - composite polycarbonate; X1 - organic fiberglass (ABS).
