Modifications of "Strep"

Cable clutches of this type are used for ground connection of high-voltage lines. The winding of the model is made of cotton strips. In this case, a steel cuff is installed. Insulators in the model are used only through type. Special fasteners are used to secure the device. It is also important to note that the coupler has a tip that is located under the bandage. The compound itself is an epoxy type.

The nominal voltage of the device is 1 kV. According to the documentation for the clutch, the oil pressure can withstand a maximum of 210 KPa. The operating voltage at a constant frequency does not exceed 30 kV. For the distribution cable line, the model is not suitable. In addition, it should be noted that the device uses a fire hood.

Features of the StpB model

This coupling has a large contact rod. The bandage in this case is located near the insulators. The cuff of this device is steel. In turn, the body is made of cast iron. The isolators of the model are only of the belt type. For attaching the device there is a special bracket. The cable lug in the device is installed together with the grounding drive. The rated voltage of the clutch is 5 kV. The initial heating temperature of the core does not exceed 80 degrees.

The oil pressure can withstand about 130 KPa. The coefficient of heating of the veins of the model is insignificant. It is also important to note that the device is often used to connect multi-core cables. In this case, there is no compound. The operating voltage at a variable frequency is about 12 kV. The hood is missing in this case.

Application of the device "StPO"

These cable couplings are often used in repair work on trunk lines. The casing is in this case used in the fireproof type. To install the device there are special fixatives. The cuff of the model is provided with a lead type. The directly contact rod is located under the tip. The wire insulator in the model is located with the winding. It is made of cotton strips. In turn, the insulators are made of polyethylene. The bandage is absent in this case.
