However, fans of the old school are dissatisfied with this, because they believe that in the pursuit of the beauty and spectacularity of the game they lost the most important thing that they always had - the soul. Therefore, the game "Botanica", the passage of which will return you to your old school days at the computer, received such loud positive reviews from many gamers and computer journalists. This is a minimalistic quest that does not delight you with incredible graphics, but it will please you with a nice picture, an excellent soundtrack, an exciting storyline, an indescribable atmosphere - and, of course, a real soul.

Control

In the game "Botanica" the passage must begin with a study of management, as well as your game screen and the most important thing that can be in the quest - inventory. If you are interested in a menu, it pops up when you hover the cursor at the bottom of the screen - there are settings, save, load, and so on. At the top is an inventory that opens in this way. In the same place, you will be able to find out the number of character cards that you will collect throughout the game process, as well as a beautiful leaf that is the map of the chapter and will open as you move along the storyline. So, as far as the inventory is concerned, everything here is quite simple - it is divided into two parts, in one you can see those items that you already have, and in the other - those that you need to find for the current chapter. Manage you will be five characters at once, whose goal is to save the tree on which they live, from parasites. In the game "Botanica" the passage is not very long, but it is full of events, interesting riddles and plot twists. You have to constantly switch from one character to another to solve these or other puzzles.

Chapter first

So, in the game "Botanical" the passage begins with the fact that your heroes - Vetka, Mushroom, Perot, Bulb and Box - try to climb a tree, but they are blocked by a creature that lost its feathers. If you find them, you can continue the journey, so go on a quest. To begin with, you will need to drive one furry creature along the branch until it leaves the pumpkin, and then drop the second one from the branch - then you can move on and discover the first pen of three. It will often need to be pressed until it falls out - very often in the game you will need to click on one object more than once, so be careful while your cursor is active, click on the objects to interact with them.

After receiving the pen, you will need to wander through the branches, interacting with various plants and animals, receiving their cards and discovering various objects. As a result, you will find a second pen, but two evil creatures will not let you in. Here you will use the ability of the Branch, which can turn itself into a bridge, the rest of the characters will pass through it and calmly take the second pen. The third is hidden behind the red leaf, on which you will need to click several times - it will fall, but the feather will fall into the hollow. Use all the characters on the hollow to extract all the cards, and the pen will get to Lukowice. Pass three feathers to the creature, and it will free you the way - you can continue the passage of the game "Botanical."

Five keys

The passage of the game "Botanica" is divided into several parts, each of which is a direct continuation of the previous one. Now you are moving along the tree until you come across a panicking creature that tells you about a parasite, because he can kill a tree. Now you have a goal, and at the moment you have a serious task - to get five keys that will open the way for you further. This you learn when you crouch on a moth - he will lay eggs, you will burst them, and the first of the keys will appear from them. Go further and you will see another key that can be picked up without any obstacles. Next to it will be a huge acorn sealed with five locks - that's exactly what you need keys for. It would seem, why did you give the second key so simply? It turns out that everything is not so simple - suddenly a bee comes, which grabs your key and carries it away - fortunately, the heroes themselves managed to catch on to the key, so together with the bee they find themselves in a hive. Now you need to sprout the branch down, to still get this key. Go back to where you flew with the bee, and look for the third key. To get it you will need to solve a rather complex puzzle in which you will need to push the red ball transparent to several holes until it is in your hands.

The next key will be under the protection of a small creature, from which you can get rid by using another spiked creature. Use his spike to drive the defender away, and collect the key. The last of the keys is inside a huge creature. When you click on it, it will open your mouth, where you need to go. There will be a smaller green creature, from which you will need to jointly select the key. After that you will find a magic lamp inside the acorn, opening all the locks - it will fulfill the wishes of each of the characters. Solve the four mini-puzzles that embody the desires of the four heroes, and only the Bulb will think to ask to neutralize the parasite. He temporarily stops working, but you still need to hurry, because this does not end in the game "Botanical" passage. Part 2 is left behind, and you move on.

Escape from opponents

As you already knew, the time to continue in the game of "Botanical" passage. Part 2 has already ended, and you are in the shelter of the parasite. Move on until the parasite is rendered harmless, and find the creature with its head torn off. Attach the head back, and the creature will tell you that this is the work of the parasite. Now you can not oppose it - you need to take care of children. But for this you need to get out of the shelter - the creature is ready to help you, but he needs a dandelion stem. Carefully advance between enemies so that they do not notice you, shake out the dandelion and bring it to the creature - it will throw you to the surface. It's time to move on the plot of the game "Botanica". The passage (part 3 is over) is continuing, and it is becoming more complicated.

Search for children

So far you could have noticed how fascinating and impressive in the game "Botanyacola" passage - stage 3 has already managed to acquaint you with the main enemy. But now you need to take care of something else. You meet a mother who has lost three of her children. You, naturally, need to save them, while exploring the fascinating world of Botanicals in parallel, getting cards for it.

So, the first child will stand next to the plant, the cups of which are gaining water. You need to arrange these cups in such a way that the water drains into the right reservoir, which will allow you to save the baby.

The episode with the second cub is quite simple - you just need to discover it and understand that it was covered up by transparent creatures. You do not need to solve any riddles - just grab the creatures and throw them aside until you free the child.

Well, there was the last baby - with him, of course, everything will be much more complicated. The fact is that he was swallowed by an insect that hid in its shelter and does not want to get out. You need to climb a branch over the insect's hideout and click on the fruits - they will fall, and the insects (including the one that swallowed the baby) crawl out for lunch. Jump to your goal, and she will spit out the baby. Take it and take all three of them to your mother, who will take you to her home. That's what happens in the game "Botanyacul" passage, part 4 has quietly left behind - it's time to move on.

Search "ostriches"

If you've ever heard about this game, then, most likely, you know about one point that strongly distinguishes in the game "Botanyacula" passage - ostriches. It is in this chapter that you will meet with them. Only you have to understand that these are not really ostriches - just some sort of creatures that are very similar to them. And for convenience they decided to call it that way.

So, your goal - to make a daring escape, using a special mechanism. But for its launch you will need fourteen of these creatures, which here will also be called ostriches. Leave the house and look at the settlement of beings, according to which you will have to walk a lot to find all the ostriches. In total there are seventeen cottages, each of which you may have to visit more than once. But be sure that in each of them there is something important, so be sure to look into each of them. In the end, when you can get all the ostriches, you need to activate the mechanism - only after that continue in the game "Botanical" passage. Part 5 ends - it's time for new adventures.

Penetration into a tree, part one

Unfortunately, your escape fails, and you instead get inside the tree. Well, apparently, you will not be able to escape from the problems, and you will need to solve them - so the game of "Botanyacul" is arranged.

Passage (collecting keys, searching for children, hatching ostriches) is a very diverse occupation and does not allow you to rest for a second. But you do not mind, because history captures to the depths of the soul, and the atmosphere is simply pleasing to the eye and hearing. However, now you definitely should not expect from the game an easy walk, because inside the tree everything is very confusing. This is one big labyrinth that looks like at times the complicated village where you were looking for ostriches.

The fact is that the village was entirely on your screen, and there were seventeen houses in it, and in this case you can easily get lost, switching between screens, although there are only twelve visiting rooms. Each of them, as in the case of settlement in the branches of the tree, contains many important and interesting objects that you should see and, if possible, interact with them.

What is this level? This is the interweaving of tunnels, each of which can lead you to this or that room. Your most important task is to collect seeds in all rooms. Pay attention to the creature that sits in room number five on the ceiling. If you click on it, it opens a container inside itself - that's where you will need to put the collected seeds to finish the level. Strictly speaking, there was no change in the game of "Botanyacul" passing - you had to collect the keys exactly the same way, ostriches - too, but in the other case such a layout might seem boring, repetitive, and the game ratings would be much lower. But "Botanica" is an incredible work of art that manages to harmoniously fill such tasks in the gameplay so that a person realizes that he did the same thing throughout the game only when he has finished - and it does not become sadder, it's only Pleases.

Penetration into a tree, part two

You have already been able to imagine the uniqueness of how the passage in Botanicola is built. Level 2 is similar in many ways to the fourth, the fifth to the sixth, but at the same time they are different visually, musically, and thematically - everything is decorated in such a style that flaws do not just hide behind the beauty or the atmosphere - they become virtues, because the variety of puzzles In this game is not so necessary, it might seem superfluous and violate this wonderful atmosphere.

But it's time to return directly to the gameplay. Note that in the tree you need to collect not only the seeds, but also the stones that need to be inserted into the corresponding holes. This will be possible, of course, only after you lay the seeds in the creature's container on the ceiling in the fifth room. First, some stones will not be available to you until you do. And secondly, it is precisely such an order of actions that is supposed to be a game. So, when all the seeds are stacked in a container, it closes, and you can collect those stones that were unreachable for you before that. Return to the fifth room, place the stones in places and click on the creature - if everything was done correctly, it will open a passage for you further.

Well, here comes to an end in the game "Botanica" passage. Part 7 - this is the last episode, and in it you have to fight with the main boss. So be prepared for the fact that there will be no easy walk-you will have to seriously try, show miracles of cleverness, dexterity and attentiveness.

The Last Battle

Unfortunately, only the bulb gets to the last part - it is from this hero that the fate of the tree will depend, although to observant players it became clear even earlier, and it was possible to verify this in the moment with the genie lamp in the acorn, when only Bulovitsa made a wish , The purpose of which was to destroy the parasite.

Now you have to spend Bulkitsa through a huge number of dangerous obstacles. You need to first swim until the mouth of the fish appears, on which you need to click. There will also be a glowing ball - you need to collect them at this level. Try to grab it, but you will be hindered by a huge creature. Grab him by the paw and pull it in all directions until the paw detaches. After that, the creature will fall, and you need to click on it until it turns into five bubbles. You need to drive the glowing ball into one of these bubbles, then lead the hero to this bubble. After that, you will again find yourself in the water - and again you will need to click on the mouth of the fish, only now you will find yourself in the forest.

Continue the journey, collect the balls - in one moment you will even need to twist the four creatures among themselves so that they let you take the ball. When you collect them all, Bulb uses them and will glow. Now you can shoot a ray of light, killing enemies, and they will roll in a crowd. When you deal with three waves, get down below, click on the parasite - and see how all your works end. That ended in the game "Botanyacul" passage - Part 8 does not exist anymore.

Bonus materials

Many people say that seven chapters are not all that the passage in the Botanical game can offer. Part 9 in fact - it's fiction, fantasy. The game ends with the victory of the Bulb over the parasite, its reunion with friends and a happy life on the tree, there are no continuations. As soon as the game is over, the creature cards you collected for the whole game are counted.
