Blutuz on a laptop: luxury or necessity?
No modern computer can do without wireless modules. If in the first models of laptops and advanced mobile phones the possibility to exchange digital data was realized by only one device - the infrared port, now the situation has completely changed.
Oils in the porridge do not happen much
At first glance it may seem that the bluetooth on the laptop is completely unnecessary. Another thing - Wi-Fi, which allows you to connect to the global network in any place where there is coverage. In fact, bluetooth on the laptop is irreplaceable in case you need, for example, to transfer some files to another mobile device (phone).
Installing bluetooth on a laptop
So, the bluetooth on the laptop is built in originally. In this case, the module must be turned on. To do this, press the combination "Fn + 6" (sometimes just "F6") - usually explanatory notations are written on the keys. As a result, the icon for installing a new device appears in the system tray. If the operating system has found the driver (a message will be issued about the successful installation) in the database, you can immediately start working. Otherwise, you need to download the driver for BlueTooth from the manufacturer's website and install it yourself.
After that, you need to go into the settings by right-clicking on the properties of the "blue tooth" icon, and enable detection. Now the included BlueTooth modules of other devices can "see" the computer. If you need to enter a confirmation code, you need to do this. Now the option "Transmit via BlueTooth" will appear in the file menu, using which you can exchange data.
In case the module is not integrated, which is typical for personal computers, the order of operations is identical to the above, with the only difference that instead of turning on the buttons, the device must be physically connected to the USB port.
